Dr Lafontaine and his staff have helped me out considerably, they are very patient and know what they are doing.
I am especially gratefully for the recommendation for the Ossur braces, without them I am in pain and it dramatically reduces my movement, with them on I can play tennis again.
When these braces stop working I will get Dr Lafontaine to do my knee replacements, hopefully in many years

Good treatment if you are female, or young. Older males pretty much ignored. Pressed for a scan because I know something tore, he just passed it off as a muscle strain and get some rest. Too late for surgery now and won't ever have 100% mobility back. Couldn't get a second opinion until 6 weeks later which was too late. Damage is now permanent. Guess I was too polite and didn't raise a big enough stink to get it checked correctly. This is where yelling and screaming may have worked? Don't know.

He is a down to earth professional person.
Love him he is great , only one mistake he is a die hard Boston Bruins fan.He fixed my health he fixed my left elbow and now my right shoulder

Worst doctor I've ever been to. Always in a rush and never actually listened to me. Went back for a follow up from my meniscus surgery and I told him something wasn't right ( I got my other knee done before and no issues). He told me it's normal and do physio. When I was waiting for my surgery he came out to draw on the leg that needed the knee fixed. He told me he was using a new tool and I blindly agreed. Worse mistake ever. He obviously had no clue what he was doing! It's been years since that surgery and my knee is still messed. It will let go and I have shooting pain and if I don't be careful I end up falling because my knee just buckled. It's been doing that since surgery. Went to see chief of surgery in Ottawa for Ortho and he said there is nothing is can do to fix it now unless it gets much worse as him going back in might make things worse. So I'm pretty much stuck with this until it really messes up. Thanks so much Dr Lafontaine!

Knee replacement no issues excellent follow up, Dr Lafontaine communicates well and in my opinion is an excellent surgeon.

This doctor did not even make eye contact with me. He did not respect the pain I was going through and told me he could not help me. I have a tear in my shoulder tendon but he suggested getting a cortisone injection and it would be the best cure since he said I was too old for surgery.
