Very knowledgeable and straightforward. Doesn't sugar-coat anything. If you want a doctor to give you the real info, he's the one. I think the negative reviews came from people not ready to hear the truth or face reality about their condition. If you need to hear "you'll be fine, don't worry" then seek out your family and friends. Dr.Rothschild is the doctor you want when you're ready to deal with your situation head on.

Dr. Rothschild helped me through some of the most difficult times of my life with direct and clear answers to my questions and honest descriptions of each procedure I needed to have. He showed sincere concern about my fears, and helped me smile even when my health worries had me near tears. He has ascertained that every health issue has been addressed and that every test needed was given and thoroughly checked. At what was the worst time of my life, I trusted him, and, in return, he helped me return to a normal, healthy life. If any friend or family member were to have renal problems in the future, I would do all I could to ensure Dr. Rothschild was their first choice when choosing a nephrologist. His intelligence and drive to help has made him the best doctor I've ever had.

Doctor does not explain treatment needs. Doctor does not spend time with patient. Doctor fails to listen and address patients concerns and needs.
