Dr. Korah repeatedly and outright refused to discuss my son’s care with both me and his regular psychiatrist, even with all appropriate HIPPA forms had been signed and submitted. She avoided all interaction even though she was well aware that I was in the hospital waiting room for 13 hours for the sole purpose of discussing my son. She only sent her resident to speak on her behalf, who did not have the specifics of the case. The resident was instructed to also flat out refuse to allow me to meet with her to discuss my son’s care. Dr. Korah even admitted to knowing that I was waiting for her at the hospital. It took 9 phone calls and requests over the course of 10 hours, up to the level of hospital administration, to finally get a phone call when I had been in her location all day. She only felt the need to spout out her credentials as if to prove herself. She also told the patient, that it was the fault of his family calling, that made her job more difficult and that she would have been able to leave work earlier had it not been for their phone calls. Meanwhile, she never returned any of the phone calls, even from my son’s regular psychiatrist to discuss his care and his background. Avoid her at all costs, she does not have the patient’s best interests in mind at all and will not do what is best for the patient in any circumstance.

I have dealt with quite a few very professional psychiatrists in my time. Never before have I dealt with someone as inconsiderate as Dr. Korah. She is very manipulative, rude, and seems to only be in it for the money/ego. I don't get the sense that she actually cares about her patients. She spent very little time with me and didn't seem to listen to me at all. She appears that she might actually be friendly but looks can be deceiving. She really doesn't seem to grasp the field of medicine at all. She really seemed to be confused about medications, their effectiveness, side effects and so on. I will never go back to her again and would not recommend her to anyone.

Korah seems to have a lot of experience doing what she does, but because of this, she thinks a little too highly of herself. She's rude, accusatory, and condescending. She is definitely part of The System, meaning she is not there to help her patients: she's there for a paycheck and a power trip. She didn't listen to what I had to say and made a lot of incorrect assumptions that negatively affected my care. If you don't play her game by her rules, you will have a difficult time. I do not recommend her.
