I would have to agree with the other post, this Dr. was awful and I'm sorry that I wasted my time and exposed my child to this man. He told me that I should not bring my child to my current pediatrician when my child shows signs of being ill. I left very frustrated and with more questions about my child's illness then when I arrived at this appointment. Do not waste your time. The nurse was kind but this Dr. should find another job far away from medicine.

At our visit this doctor was incredibly rude and condescending to me and my child. Lousy bedside manner aside, I found this man to be incredibly narrow minded in his knowledge of and willingness to treat the disease we were referred to him in regards to. The man acted like her illness was a joke and called our regular doctor (and doctors like him) a quack for suggesting that my child's symptoms and POSITIVE BLOOD TEST meant she had this disease.

This ievery parent's worst nightmare. When I brough my very sick child to him by the referral form a genetral pediatrician, he was not familiar with this rare condition. Instead of researching medical literature a little bit and looking at the bloodwork, he declared that my liitle child is faking his illness. He accused us of Munchausen syndrom (when parent intentionally harms the child to get attention). He put us through hell with complete confidence that he has a right to do so, not doubting for a moment that the child is really ill and needs help, despite all the evidence from the refering doctor and blood tests. Thanks God my child is in good hands of other caring and well informed doctors, and is getting help he needs. This so called doctor is unimaginably cruel and poorly informed. If he encounters the disease he is not familar with, then it can be a problem. If it is a well-known disease that he is OK, I guess. I lost all the respect to medical profession, thanks to him.
