If you read no farther than this... no, dont use this guy.

I am shocked there are any good reviews. I have to agree with the negative ones 100%.

Absolutly no bedside manner at all. He gave me no confidence that his procedure would solve my pain, and so far it hasnt.

The post op visit was 3 minutes tops. I seemed to agitate him when asking if the pain will go away. The answer was "I dont know."

I have had several procedures in my life and some surgeons can be robots but this guy takes the cake. There are many options for surgeons, find someone else.

I found Dr. Pietro to be very kind, knowledgeable and professional. I went to him with gallstones and pain and he got me in immediately for surgery. I was very grateful and would recommend him highly.

He has performed 3 procedures on me in 4 years. I'm very satisfied with his performance. I look for someone who knows what he is doing and I think Dr Pietro is an excellent surgeon.

Dr. Pietro is an excellent surgeon. He was very well at communicating to me. I had great results with my surgery. He has a small office and takes you back himself from the waiting room, so you don't have to repeat everything to an office nurse. The reason i picked Dr. Pietro for my surgery was on the referral that i had heard that most of the physicians in the bellingham area go to him personally for their surgery, and i think that is probably the best recommendation i can give.

This doctor was the worst one I encountered. His knowledge was pitiful. Did not want to read a CT scan done by another doctor or do another one. He said the cyst was probably a blood clot, and would never remove whatever the growth or cyst was. If this had been a blood clot I would have been dead!!! I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Besides that his office site manners were terrible. I agree with the patient above keep away from this surgeon.

This doctor has the worst bedside manor I’ve ever encountered. I had complications after my very simple surgery and he was extremely unhelpful, huffy when I requested pain meds be allowed to kick in for a few minutes before a very painful examination, and treated me like I was being overly dramatic even though I was unable to urinate, move my bowels, was in great pain, and vomiting blood and bile. I followed the care check list I received post-op and called when I was instructed because of these problems. He acted upset that I would bother him with something so trivial even when I was instructed to call if I experienced it. I was so offended by him and his attitude that I refused to set up a follow up appointment two weeks post-surgery and chose to check with another physician regarding how I was healing from surgery.
