My daughter went to SSRH by ambulance in April and Dr. Dabbour was the tending "physician". After waiting 3 hours the man entered the area we were in, leaned against the wall and told me "your daughter is healthy, she probably has Covid, I could run a covid test on her if you want. Go home." I told him my daughter had something else going on (fever, chills, racing heart, shaking uncontrollably at the time the ambulance arrived, she was pale and was complaining of being out of breath a lot lately), he felt her neck.. that was it! He acted as though we were wasting his time. Spent MAYBE 5 minutes with us. When I asked him then to do a Covid test to rule that out at least he replied "I really don't want to waste a test... its not going to change anything. She'll get over whatever it is. Go home."
One month later my daughter ends up going by ambulance again to the SSRH. Still same symptoms only much, much worse. (She has no family doctor) Thank God a competent doctor was on and he ran blood work and immediately had her transported to the IWK. Where she was diagnosed with Luekemia.
This man is not a doctor. He is incompetent. I only hope he reads this and learns that his poor care caused my daughters cancer to get worse. If he'd done his job it could have been caught earlier. I'd rate zero stars if I could.
If anyone arrives at the ER and sees that he is the "Doctor" please get a second opinion or run to another ER as fast as you can.

One of the worst person I have been to in my entire life. I can’t call him a physician as he doesn’t fall into that category at all. Poor patients wait long hours at the hospital expecting that the doctor will be good and will understand the patients health problem and use the best treatment options. After giving the urine sample little did I know that it was a UTI, because I have had these type of symptoms before and I myself was a physician back in my country. He took maximum 5 minutes to access everything and Interfered while I was trying to explain him my condition. And at last he said that the results were clear and I didn’t have UTI and if I WISH to take tylenol I can. And now today because of his false treatment option, I am suffering a kidney infection due to the relapse of UTI. I would never recommend this person to any of my fellow Canadian friends. I hope, I never have to see this person again when I visit the hospital.

Awesome doctor abd very knowledgeable.
If you really have an emergency, he is there for you right away and very efficient. If you don't really have an "EMERGENCY" then do not waste his and the staff's time and leave it for really sick people.
Good job Dr. Dabbour 👍👍

My experience was horrible. I walked in with pain and nauseau. Was told instantly I had a bladder infection. He had no advice other than take tylonel every four hours. Sent me home within 5 minutes of seeing me.
Also had the nerve to ask me "Why are you crying" when I told him I was in pain. Then asked "so why don't you have a family doctor".....
