Dr. Fan had been my family physician most of my life (30 years). He delivered me, my sister and was also my grandparent's and parent's physician. He was always kind, gentle and intelligent. His office staff - Joan and Olga were fantastic. Vicky was horrible, an absolute nightmare and rude woman with no business working in a customer service position. When I switched to another doctor the two reasons were that Dr. Fan's hours were difficult for my schedule,(but I was willing to do what I could to make it work) and Vicky. Vicky was the reason I finally found another physician. I can't tell you how many phone calls I got from her demanding that I come in earlier (than my SCHEDULED 5:15pm appointment) because it was 3:30 and there were no other patients booked until me and she wanted to go home early (her words). I can't recall a single interaction with her that was pleasant. I truly hope she found another line of work because she shouldn't be in any sort of customer service related role and sadly, her awful personality and lack of skills was being reflected on patient reviews of Dr. Fan himself.

I am still in shock losing my Family doctor of so many years. He has retired as of September 18, 2018. He will be sorely missed for his expertise and gentle manner - always helpful and courteous, never failing to refer to Specialists if deemed necessary. Finding a replacement will be so hard but hopefully successful. All the very best to you Dr. Fan in your well-deserved retirement.

I have been going to Dr. Fan's for 42yrs, he was my Grandmothers doctor. He was amazing to her and even made house calls. I now have 3 children and he has been absolutely wonderful with them. Joan was amazing and so was Olga...Vicky is also great doing her best working in an office that hat hasn't caught up with the electronic times, so that is hard. All these people with harsh words. I find Vicky to be very helpful and caring towards my family and I. I am so sad that Dr. Fan is retiring but I know he deserves it. I will miss this office terribly. Now I have to pay for parking to see my new doctor and the wait time is long and the working hours are not as good as this office. All the best to Vicky and Dr. Fan.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Fan’s for more than 40 years. At first, his office was staffed by Joan, avwonderful receptionist and very competent medical administrative assistant. Unfortunately, she retired and the place has been going downhill, continuously ever since.

Now the office is run by two completely incompetent people, Olga and Vicky. Vicky is rude, condescending, obtuse, and incompetent.

Specifically, in the past three years, Dr. Fan has made 4 referrals to other specialists and 3 of those referrals have been lost, confused, misplaced, whatever. Most recently, a medical emergency referral wasn’t even made within the first week. Only when I called back a week later did they realize that it hadn’t been done. Then when they redid the referral, it was the wrong specialist. Then, after promising to get things corrected, three days later, I still hadn’t received a call.

After 40+ years, Ikm going to a walk-in clinic from now on.

Clearly Dr. Fan and his staff havenkt realized that they’ve already retired!

Dr. Fan has been my family doctor for the past 36 years. He is retiring in 2018 and I’m sorry to say that it’s definitely time for that to happen. While I have never experienced the “grouchy” attitude others have mentioned, I do agree that the quality of care just isn’t there anymore. Far worse is the staff. Years ago Dr. Fan had a lovely nurse named Joan, but she retired. Since then, the office has been run by Olga, a very quiet, shy woman, and Vicky, a rude, abrupt, incompetent woman. Vicky should not be working in any sort of customer-facing role - certainly not in healthcare. She is dismissive and lacks compassion and patience. She regularly loses important medical reports and takes several weeks to call to arrange appointments with specialists. Dr. Fan referred me to an orthopaedic surgeon 4 weeks ago - Vicky still hasn’t called to tell me when my appointment has been scheduled for. She’s terrible. I have already found another doctor who is accepting new patients so I will be leaving Dr. Fan.

Dr. Fan is a grouchy, cantankerous jerk. He's will openly and vehemently disagree with specialist' s reports sent to him. His office does not call if there are issues with your test results. I quit going to him because he is so unpleasant. I'd rather go to a walk in clinic or just not see a doctor than endure Dr. Fan.

Worst staff ever. Unhelpful, slow and unfriendly. I think Dr. Fan is retiring soon.
