I have seen this doctor several times for prostate concerns and he has made me feel very secure in dealing with my problem. I believe he is an excellent doctor. The office wait is long but that is because he never rushes you and he is booked solid daily.

He performed microsurgery to reverse an 11 yr old vasectomy. It worked. We have happy a happy healthy 5 yr old and 3 yr old. Thanks so much Dr. Beristain.

This man is a masochist. He didn't give me any anaesthetic for the bladder scope and I bled for two days. It was excruciatingly painful. It was like going through an assembly line. There was nothing to clean up the blood and no medication for the pain.

I'm a female and have been seeing Dr. Beristain for over a year now. He's a very gentle, kind man - doesn't make you feel rushed, and takes the time to listen to you. Procedures were done very gently, with much patience and explaining, as were the results. His staff was very accomodating when it came to "fitting me in" for any appointment when I was in severe pain. Dr. Beristain IS however, always late!! Be prepared for a VERY long wait in his office: 1-2 hours over your appointment time was not uncommon. Also, procedure/surgery waits are very long. Over-all, good and kind doctor and man.

Dr Beristain was very professional when dealing with my surgery, however when trying to talk to him with a problem that was a result of the surgery he seemed more concerned in how he was going to be paid than helping me with my problem.

Very competant man. Takes time to listen. A gentle person. I cannot say enough about this physician. It is a shame that he is close to retirement, I am guessing on this, I pray that he will practice for many more years.
