Dr Wieand has me waling great without knee replacement

Dr weiand treated me for two torn tendons. He failed to diagnose what caused this condition, and, after he operated, I went into a life threatening semi-coma. He had no idea what to do and turned the case over to a blood specialist. I was in the hospital for over 3 months and all other Doctors forgave my bills since I was out of work, and could not afford to pay. He has sued me for payment. Because he used an assistant during surgery which my insurance company insists was not necessary, I have not yet paid him. He has never once asked how I made out from the surgery and he started sending threating letters demanding payment while I was still in the hospital, and out of work.

I think Dr. Weiand is one of the worst physicians I have ever seen. I went to him for a fractured ankle and one of his assistants casted it for him. Four weeks later the assistant took it off. After the cast came off I still had severe pain, my fractured foot was a bluish color and was also very cold. Dr. Weiand neglected to notice all of these symptoms as a very serious disorder known as RSD. Eventually when I kept going back and compaining of pain, he reluctantly sent me for an MRI which showed signs of RSD. After I was diagnosed and had several opinions from other specialists (anesthesiologists, rheumatologists, neurologists, etc.) I made the mistake of going back for his opinion on the form of treatment I should accept because I had noone else to disuss it with. The disorder, if not effectively treated in a timely manner becomes chronic. He was so nasty and not understanding at all and I think he may atually "not believe" in this disorder although it is a well documented condition.
