38 years old chronic pain patient my whole life.. no help from this office. cut down and made to feel like a complete loser by his staff. do not see this doctor for pain management he is not allowed to help people, as he has told me clearly that he's not allowed to do anything controversial, and he's being babysat and monitored every appointment

Dr. Boughten! Has been my doctor for 30 years! Always takes the time to get to know you and your. Life. The hardest thing is to get the golden appointment weeks and sometimes month or so. The front staff really don’t care! Plus he doesn’t change for Dr. Sick notes where other doctors in the clinic charges 60.00 and I didn’t have the money and I was in a car accident the day after...

This Dr is a great Dr and a great person. He sincerely cares about people, so different than the other Drs that practice in this clinic. If you can get in to see him, count that as a blessing. There is a long wait to get appointments with him but that shows how good he is. This Dr is not about the money, he cares about you and is super helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and happy!

Knowledgeable, compassionate, truly listens to concerns and is very understanding with regards to not just my health but my whole wellbeing. He is very thorough and ready to spend the time needed to listen and investigate further when needed for proper treatment. I am so grateful that he chose to accept me a both a pain patient and as my regular G.P.

Dr. Boughen has been a God send in diagnosing and treating my chronic pain. His NP, Dawn, is an absolute angel who also suffers from chronic pain, as does his wife. Because of this, he's more familiar with the kinds of issues that can stem from chronic pain than any other doctor I've seen. Unfortunately, his receptionists have a tendency to be abrasive and sometimes lack competency; they've made mistakes with my appointment bookings and whatnot on several occasions. Dr. Boughen has a tendency to be late for appointments, but only because he spends so much time with each patient. As a chronic pain sufferer, I'm constantly plagued by the stigma that comes with it; I was initially diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which can't really be proven per se, so many doctors assumed I was simply looking for drugs. While Dr. Boughen is willling to prescribe narcotics free of judgment, he also does everything he can to find the best treatment for you. I've tried many alternatives with varying success, such as lidocaine infusions, Botox for migraines, non-narcotic medications, and multiple holistic approaches. More importantly, Dr. Boughen listened when I explained why I thought my diagnosis was wrong. He sent me for multiple tests, and when the results came back, he sent me to two specialists to make sure they came up with the best possible treatment plan. As he's nearing retirement age, he sometimes suggests a treatment plan then forgets to follow up; all he needs is a simple reminder! He's the most compassionate and invested doctor I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of doctors!

Dr. Boughen saved my life. He diagnosed my brain tumor before anyone else could. He was my doctor for 23 years, recently moved doctors, I feel at the stage he is moving into retirement mode, i don't want to be caught without a doctor.
