Dr Nigam lacks social etiquette with her patients. When examining one of my eyes, the instrument she pressed on my eye caused me to lose temporary sight in my eye. Trying to remain calm, I asked if this was normal. She asked me what I saw. I said I just saw black. She said that was okay. It would have been nice for her to warn me that might happen. She refused to answer questions regarding my upcoming cataract surgery on two occasions. On my first visit she told me I would have perfect long distance vision and would only need glasses for close up. On a subsequent visit she denied saying this and pointed to her notes on the computer. I checked my notes that I had made of the first visit and confirmed she had told me that I would have perfect long distance vision. During the second surgery I felt extremely sharp pain at one point. She said she was putting the lens in. No apology for causing that pain, nor did she give any additional freezing, she just carried on. I will never go back to her, nor would I recommond her to anybody.

Dr. Nigam seems a tad off and rude (doesn’t have the best bedside manner). BUT, though going there for something that ended up being harmless, Dr. Nigam brought to my attention a serious eye condition that I may have that I was completely unaware of. Turns out, I did have this eye condition. If I hadn’t gone to see her, I don’t know how much worse my disease would have gotten before I had recognized it. To this, I owe her everything (especially my vision!) ❤️

I see many doctors, and none treat me as coldly and dismissively as she does. She came into the examining room and said, "I'm Dr. Nigam," as if we'd never met before. She has seen me multiple times and performed several medical procedures. I'm not sure about her competency; the surgery she did has had complications, and I don't know if that is me or her. What I do know is that I am not treated with dignity or respect or compassion when I see her. I have taught 1st year meds students, and use her approach (without mentioning her name) as an example of what NOT to do. I look forward to a much improved performance from her.

Arrogant, zero personality, seems miserable every visit, provides no information, doesn't consider patients knowledge, spends 5 minutes tops with you. Seems to be just a cash cow set up continuously suggesting additional testing. and not spending the time to properly explain things only jumping from one patient to the next. Will be looking for a new eye Dr.

I would never see this doctor again either. I had such a horrible experience. I was referred to her by an emerg doctor and she made me feel stupid and did not explain ANYTHING to me.

I would never ever see this doctor again, I’ve never been treated like this by anyone ever, she was rude angry, I would never allow anyone to work on me with that kind of anger. I don’t know if it had anything about me being indigenous, if it is, I feel sorry for the other in business people that don’t speak up for themselves. We’re gonna launch complaint to whoever is going to listen especially medical services who pays our insurance.

Wouldn't recommend her to anyone. She removed cataracts on both of my eyes and I had to go back for laser on an eye done two months ago.Leaves me wondering if she knows what she's doing

Was very disappointed in this doctor. Not very friendly. In a hurry to treat you and carry on with her other patients. Would not reccomend her.
