I agree with many of others here. The doctor is ok, but the staff is just not helpful.In addition to the situations mentioned by others, there was one more thing that impressed me deeply. During the coldest days of last winter, my child had two or three consecutive appointments with the doctor. While she was allowed in , I was shut out standing in minus ten degrees. The staff said it was their covid policy. I would totally understand it if there were other patients, but my child was the only one, staying with the doctor in his office, and the hall was empty. I told the staff that it was really cold outside and I was willing to go in and stay in a corner by the door - they had some empty chairs there, but I didn't get the chance. I lingered outside the door for almost an hour because I wanted to make sure my kid could see me if she needs me, and the staff could see me standing outside through the glass door. At that time, I felt like the match-selling girl in Andersen's tale. That feeling was unforgettable.

Dr Pachler is ok himself, but the office nickels and dimes the patients, $100 for a trial pair of contacts is robbery...$2 for a cleaning cloth? They are going to lose patients to offices that actually care about them.

Good Eye Doctor but as many other reviews mention the office staff, are totally unacceptable, go elsewhere.

Been a patient for 10+ years and have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Pachler. He is very good at what he does and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. Much like most of these reviews, the staff is a different story. They can be rude and seem to only care about upselling. I will never stop going to Dr. Pachler, I recommend him to all my friends and family but that recommendation comes with a warning for the staff.

Staff do not pick up phones or return voicemails; been trying for 2+ weeks to get a hold of someone. You cannot walk into the office because of COVID so you are at the mercy of the staff and their schedules. The doctor however is great. Note that all staff will try to upsell you so be prepared for pressure tactics. The doctor is very helpful, thorough and knowledgeable but ensures the staff deal with the pricing/products. The staff are the only reason not to go to this doctor.

The staff are not kind/nice and never pick up the phones! You have to try for days before getting through (even prior to COVID). The doctor is helpful and knowledgeable. I would consider going to another doctor only because of ALL staff that work there but I have been a patient for 7+ years

Family of 5. Have been going since 2012. He takes the time to explain everything and encourages kids to limit screens by setting expectations if they don't!

We go there for few years not. One of the receptionists is just so unhelpful. She answer the questions with 0 knowledge. She never say "let me ask". I like the dr, but lots of work is done by receptionist. It is day 2 I can't reach anyone on a phone and I know they are open, I just drove by, but they didn't let me in, because I didn't have an appointment. I don't mind to talk on a phone, but nobody answers it.

I brought my son in today. After an hour wait, I was left with an assistant who couldn't answer any questions. While paying at the counter, the receptionist got on a phone about some other matter. On a top of it, they forgot to give us our prescription.
