Dr. Allan Bruce is the best dentist I went to he was awesome kind and he is very helpful when my parents took me to see him he put me at ease, he under stand the bad experience I had with other dentist and he is the best dentist that anyone can have, I highly recommend him😊

I haven't seen him YET, but I am comforted by the 3pgs of good reviews. I too had horrible experiences as a child with rough dentists. After reading how others overcome their fear of the dentist with Dr.Bruce, I am actually egar to call and make an appointment. Thank You so much ppl!

I had Br. Bruce as a dentist for years when I was on my employer’s dental plan. Good work and all, but once off the plan, I had something happen to me that changed my view of him and some dentists with whom he works. He and, I suspect, at least a couple of other dentists in Thunder Bay, operate a kickback scheme where they refer patients to one another. There is nothing wrong with referrals, but what they don’t disclose to you is the “referral fee” your dentist tacks onto your bill of the referred dentist.

This kickback scheme of milking patients with “referral fees” is a gray area of law, but it is unethical and corrupt and it needs to go viral. Insurance companies are aware of it and less likely to pay out for it. Hence, dentists may not be so willing to play this game on their patients who are on a plan. Regardless, this scheme is the reason why I’ve decided to now get my dental work done abroad when I travel, at a cost btw of about one quarter of what I would pay here.

1- he cares a lot about patients health, his priority is health condition of the patients not their pockets
2- he is doing whatever it is essentially necessary for the patient
3- he explains every detail of the work to the patient and gives the patient several choices, he gives his opinion for the best choice too. The patient has a choice but I always respect Dr. Bruce's opinion and leave it to him because I fully trusted him, and never this trust has been breached.
4- Dr. Bruce and all staffs are extremely friendly, it is a unique outstanding atmosphere that you can rarely find it somewhere else.
5- His performance is outstanding
6- The price is very reasonable
If you try it once, you will be his patient forever.

Dr. Bruce is a fabulous doctor. I took my terrified daughter there today, and the dental hygienist was superb, calming her fears and able to look into her mouth in no time. The softness, gentleness and friendliness of this doctor and his staff is phenomenal!

Very similar story as the other reviewers.. came from a rough dentist as a child, parents were recommended Dr. Bruce by more then one family friend. I've been with Dr. Bruce ever since 5 + years. I've lived in a lot of different places the past 2 years and always make sure to make my check up when I'm in town. He has guided me through 10 years extended dental work from braces/jaw surgery/wisdom teeth/implants... he may not have been involved in the actual procedures all the time but he has always been the one to give amazing advice and stands up if another dentist is wrong. I would recommend Dr. Bruce 100%

I've been going to Dr.Bruce for 5 years now and have never regretted changing dentists. I have anxiety around going to the dentist from years of rough and less than gentle dental care and Dr. Bruce has created a trusting and safe environment. He is gentle, straightforward and willing to explain what he's going to do before he does it. Never going anywhere.
