I am so incredibly disappointed.
After over 6 months of waiting to see her after being referred by my family doctor; I had high hopes that I would finally get some answers, good advice and a thorough game plan to tackle the long list of complex health issues I’m facing. Dr. Levac spoke to me for about 5 minutes, did a quick 3 minute exam… and regardless or the fact that she had ALL of my results, confirmed diagnosis’s, numerous ultrasound/X-ray and blood work results right in front of her…. Gave me nothing but a print off from Google to read.

I am beyond disgusted with our health system and how so many doctors and specialist truly don’t care.

Reply to your important emails one to two weeks after, no guide on following procedures, no follow up call or appointment after surgery... when you meet with her, she is ok. But when you left, it is hard to reach her....

Over an hour late to my appointment time, then suggested I reschedule but I waited as getting an appointment isn’t easy. Other wise no complaints besides not being in too good of touch.

Dr. Levac and her team at the Diabetes Clinic at CCH are awesome. I've been a Type 1 Diabetic now for 54 years, and I still learn new ways from the doctor and her great team!

Well, my reunion with Dr .Levac was a shot one i 'm afraid...I like Dr. Levac and would wish to stay with her but I do not care about her Diabetes management team at the Cornwall Hospital. Since that her office is at the same place that the Diabetes management team, I kind of need to find another Endo from Ottawa in order to not to have to deal with Cornwall's chumps..

Glad she's coming back to Cornwall. Changed my insulin and when I take it after I started seeing her and have generally felt much better since!

She changed my life for the better. I'm sorry she is no longer in Cornwall because I need her. I hope I'm able to find out where she went as she was the doctor who diagnosed me and got me on my cop disability. J M H

Dr. Lavac was a caring Dr I will never find a dr like her. Very sad that she had to leave
