I went incorrectly diagnosed, (by a specialist), literally, for years until, out of desperation, my following physician finally referred me to Dr Levac.
Unlike the other "expert" who had dismissed me as being flaky, she requisitioned the tests that needed to be done and found the problem, ( a serious one btw).
It is unbelievable that in a time when this kind of expertise is so desperately needed in Cornwall that we are losing such a competent and caring physician because of nonsense at the hospital.

The reason Dr. Levac is leaving Cornwall is that other endocrinologists in Cornwall are MAKING her leave. They won't let her go to the hospital because she's a WOMAN. theyre chasing her out of town. SHAME on those other doctors!!

Regretfully Dr Marie Levac is once again leaving the Cornwall area in summer of 2015..I've heard that she has done this in the past, If she does return, I won't get her as a dr, as there is no way of knowing if he's staying or leaving.. She was an awesome dr with lots of knowledge and i'm going to miss her, but I wish her all the best.

best endocrinologist in cornwall! after many years with another doctor that refused to listen to me I went to her. I made a recommendation of medication would like to try. after the first 6 weeks on it we were very successful. she listens to my symptoms, treats them correctly and sends me for the correct bloodwork. she is AMAZING! her staff are friendly and professional.

Know-it-all Doctor!! Cannot stand when being questioned about concerns regarding medications being prescribed! Unwilling to back any of her logic with any proof of clinical trials ! Refuse to go back to her!

Dr.lavec is a great doctor. I am so sorry to she her leave. It is a shame. Cornwall has lost one of the best.She was my doctor now I don't know what I am going to do.
