Dr. Kellam was my family Dr from the time he came to Prescott. He has seen our family through some very tough times and did it with kindness and compassion. Dr. Kellam cares. You are never rushed, he devotes the time you need and if a referral is needed he will do that as well. I can't say enough good things about him.

Now the office on the other hand... HORRIBLE. The receptionist is vile. She talks over top of you, argues, belittles you and there seems to be no acknowledgement of her behaviour or attempt to curtail it. The clinic is run by the Bhatt family (the wife of deceased Dr. Bhatt and her mother of Dr. N Bhatt) they can't seem to keep staff and those that do stay are overworked. I know it must be hard to have a practice in a small town but I wish Dr. Kellam had stayed on his own.

Dr. Kellam has been my family Dr for 43 years. He is kind, compassionate and so very caring. You are never rushed and he listens carefully to all concerns. He is very good to refer if necessary. I'm sure he will retire soon and he will be sadly missed. The office staff is terrible though and it makes each visit a chore.

Dr Kellam is a sweet old gentleman but sometimes he misses the mark. He is very good to listen and hear what you have to say. He will also not deny you a referral if you ask for one, but he isn't as quick to suggest a referral if needed. He has been very caring snd lol ingredients with my daughters everytime I have brought them in. Having moved across the country I'm sad not to have him as our family physician. His receptionist staff on the other hand are the most rude, ignorant, and judgmental group of people I have ever met. When calling to make an appointment I've been on hold for 30 mins and then when they answer they rush you through trying to book an appointment. I have talked down too and give engelhart the dirtiest looks coming into the office. They set a terrible tone for the entire practice, so much for that small town feel I would expect from a small town practice.

Dr. Kellam is superior to most doctors. Caring, listens, not afraid to refer. The problem is his receptionist. She is rude, assumes she knows more than the doctors and not friendly. It is vital to any practice to have great staff. She should not be fired but taken away from the front desk and given duties filing or other things. Perhaps she should be sent on a course on who to deal with the public with a smile. She is hurting the practice.

Our family travels 2 hrs to see Dr Kellam. He's an amazing physician and will drop everything for a patient in need. Very thorough as well. The staff and I'm assuming owners of the practice (Bhatts?) are the worst people to deal with though. Out right ignorant, and mean. (Who in their right mind yells at a patient and their infant child?!) When making an appt - make your issue sound worse than it is... If you don't the staff will tell you to call back 'next week'. Next week comes and told the same - to call back. Receptionists are exactly that - receptionists. NOT Drs. It's a shame Dr Kellam doesn't have his own practice. My husband, son and I will be sadly getting a new Dr ASAP due to the arrogance and hostility from the staff. We LOVE Dr Kellam very much!

He is very compassionate when it comes to any issues you have I had a personal issue and went to him each week just to cry on his shoulder. He even made sure i would be able to get ahold of him when he went in to get his hip replaced . I wouldn't trade him for the world.

I found Dr Kellam to be very condescending under the guise of a "nice, caring guy"!. He missed a basic diagnosis that a 1st year medical student could have made. Sure did an about face when his caring mode was challenged! His knowledge base is from the 1970's and it has not been updated. He totally missed a diagnosis that should not have been missed, which resulted in a wasted 2 weeks that could have been used to diagnose the cause of my elderly mothers headache and then refer her for treatment. Wasted time=ruptured aneurysm+ death! Run folks or try a local witch doctor, couldn't be worse care!

I have been a patient for over 35 years. He is amazing and has helped me out numerous times. I can always count on him. He goes above and beyond. However they recently hired an new receptionist who reflects badly on the whole practice. I dropped forms off to her which were crucial to meeting a deadline for medical expenses. She either lost them or did not give them to my doctor. This resulted in my provider denying my prescription drug costs. When I tried to make an appointment with whomever was covering for Dr. Kellam while he was off for a hip replacement she refused and told me I had to get another form. I told her the letter stated that I needed another checkup but she refused to listen. She doesn't comprehend what documents say and refuses to listen to the patients. She is dumb as a stick and takes it upon herself to screen patients and deny them access to their doctors through the appointment process. She is young and headstrong and has her own agenda.
