Dr. Sands treated me in the emergency room at Providence. She called me at home to make sure I understood the limitations of the E.R. diagnosis and to insist that I follow up. Because of her I was able to get to the right team and a real diagnosis of a rare immune system deficiency. I believe she saved my life.

Dr. Sands was patronizing, belligerent, and “punishing“ when I asked questions about her choices. I have never met such a cold physician before. Furthermore, she released me from the ER When I clearly should’ve been hospitalized. I ended up being hospitalized a couple of days later and my own this one on much longer than necessary. If you get Dr. sans at the emergency room, request another physician. You are legally allowed to do so.

Dr. Sands responded to questions by myself and my husband with aggression, a false accusation and threat. She does not have the ability to relate or communicate with people with stress or anxiety about their health. She abused her power as a physician.
