Extremely rude and very rudimentary knowledge of medicine. People who are this arrogant are either extremely talented or alone and inept. Quite obviously she's the latter.

Horrible experience with this woman. Extremely poor bedside manner and did not care that I had a miscarriage. I wanted to get a D&C because I didn’t want to be traumatized even more. She didn’t care and demanded that I give birth to a dead baby or we’d be kicked off the ward. Hate this woman with all my heart.

I was surprised to see so many negative comments about Dr. Bleszynski. I followed her during my pregnancy and had no issues with the staff and Dr. Bleszynski. If people are complaining about wait times it is everywhere. It is not a physician issue. This is a system issue. I worked in a healthcare field and wait times are not in health authorities hands. Every patient needs different care and it is hard to predict wait times.

worst clinic to visit! The waiting time is ridiculous, have waited 2 hours and 40 mins today. Every visit is has been 2-3 hours. Absolutely ridiculous!! I wish we were not referred to her.

I was left feeling disregarded and unimportant. I was ushered out of the room after having a cyct removed with blood running down my legs dripping on the floor, and wasn't given a sanitary napkin for the blood and when I got home my pants were soaked in blood. My questions were not answered adequately during the procedure, and the stitches she put in after it was removed look and feel worse than the cyct I had removed. This experience triggered memories of sexual abuse and disregard from early childhood. I felt violated and left bleeding. Her bed side mannor was atrocious and not comforting in the least, even the nurse who was working with her was a bit insensitive after I was finished she seen how much I was bleeding and practically pushed me out of the room saying okay now you did good ... Bye now. Neither of them gave me after care instructions on how to care for my wound after I had left. ... The whole experience left me feeling vulnerable ... More so than expected... I went home and cried after and vomited ...... Now I must mention I am a strong women who can handle most of everything stoic in nature. But this experience left me feeling less human than when I walked in.

I have used Dr. Bleszynski for all four of my pregnancies. She is very to the point and does not sugar coat things. I suppose for some women this is difficult as they want to be pampered during their pregnancy. However for me I appreciated the honesty. She made sure I was very well taken care of by other specialists as needed given my last two pregnancies were when I was over 40. And, if given the opportunity, she actually has a super sense of humour. Treat her with respect and she treats you with respect.

That said she has had a difficult time maintaining staff. And because she is across the street from the hospital there have been last minute cancelations or long waits due to her being called in for emergency surgeries/deliveries. I understand this and would have expected that if I needed her she would have come to me during the day as well.

Dr.Bleszynski has zero bedside manner. I had been informed that she pushes for c-sections and I initially did not believe it to be true. When I was in labour, she told me I needed a c-section as I was not dialating fast enough, I asked if me or my baby was in danger and she said no. She then announced to the room of nurses and family that she was leaving and “when I was done proving myself to everybody, she would be back for a c-section”, she refused to acknowledge that I was in the room and was speaking about me as if I was not there. She refused to answer any concerns I had unless I confirmed that I would do the (medically unnecessary) c-section. I know several people who she has given c-sections to and every single person has a horror story from her.

During a nurse shift change, I overheard two of my nurses discussing the doctors on shift and how awful she was to them and the staff and when they saw that I overheard, they only could say “she’s not that bad”

Do yourself a favour if you’re delivering at Surrey memorial and do not let this doctor come near you.
