Recently dealt with Dr. J. SINGH in relation to unexpected passing if dear friend whom I adored. Dr Singh was wonderful, caring, knowledgable, very approachable and giving of her time and compassion. She made a very difficult and sad time more bearable.

Dr. Jag diagnosed and treated me for Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Diagnosis was right on the money and IVIg was begun immediately after lumbar puncture confirmed diagnosis. She's aces in my book.

Prescribed heart medication for blocked arteries, which I did not have! On meds for eight months needlessly! Not impressed!

Does not follow up even when you are still having medical issues. Does not try to find out what is wrong with you.

My father (who doesn't know I'm posting this review) needs medication for the rest of his life. Without it, he ends up in the hospital with life-threatening infections. Every year, my parents have to chase Dr Singh for MONTHS to get her to fax a simple prescription. Last year his meds ran out and he had to wait. This year he had a knee replacement, and it was important that he not miss any medication. On the day he ran out again (after chasing the Dr for 2 months), I gave them the information to call the College of Physicians and Surgeons and file a complaint. Now, surprise surprise, the Dr is finding the time to get things done. Truro may have a lack of specialists, but no one is THAT busy. It doesn't matter if you have the best Dr in the world, if they aren't available when it's important, what good are they?? (I also find the 2 reviews on this Dr. on the SAME DAY in 2008 a little suspect. All 5's across the board, even for punctuality? Please!)

She was absolutely wonderful with my husband thru the last year of his life. Overworked and rarely on time aside, she was a blessing and my undying gratitude and respect will always come to mind when I think or hear of Mrs. Dr. Singh.

I think Dr. Singh is overworked. She is caring with her patients when she has the time. I certainly hope the Colchester Hospital doesn't lose her.

Dr. Singh is a super doctor , she takes the time to fully explain your problem and any options which are available .Because of a shortage of specialists it takes time to get in to see her unfortunately she can't remedy that situation as there are only so many hours in the day but this does not in anyway reflect on her abilities or her knowledge .I have found her to be caring ,attentive, knowledgeable with a superb bedside manner!!!

Dr. Singh doesn't seem to have time for her patients. I know someone who needed a platelet transfusion a week ago and she hasn't returned 2 messages to arrange the transfusion. She seems very uncaring.
