Dr. Goldstein performed spinal anesthesia on me for a c-section. I barely felt it when she administered the spinal. She explained everything to me, and prepared me in advance for what I would feel while getting the spinal, which worked perfectly, and actually allowed me to enjoy the whole experience! I am pregnant again, and plan to have Dr. Goldstein take care of me during my next c-section.

I had female surgery under epidural anesthesia administered by Dr. Goldstein. She explained everything to me, and was very gentle. It was an excellent experience.

Botched my Spinal horribly, as I was about to have a planned C-Section. Previously had an Epidural and a couple of surgeries with fantastic anesthesiologists and NO problems. Her Spinal was such a failure, that she used Versed to block my memory of it - without my knowledge or consent. I have no recollection whatsoever of what should have been one of the most amazing moments of my life, and memory is still an issue. I've seen two hynotherapists, in hopes of regaining some memories - this did not work. HOWEVER, they were able to bring back the physical pain of the miserable Spinal, and the pain of being CUT open for the C-Section. If the Spinal had worked at all, my brain would not remember such pain! I've since learned that Versed is NEVER supposed to be used during childbirth/labor unless mother or child are at mortal risk. Her actions could have caused permanent damage to my baby - and likely caused her to be hypothermic.
