Agree with the other post. Providence should not allow people to work in their hospital uncontracted when there is no patient choice.

I have nothing bad to say about this Dr. I do however have some thing to say about his charges. On July 1,2,3, I had him for pain management on the removal of a GIST tumor beside my stomach. I found out afterwards that he is not a Network Provider for AETNA and can charge as much as he wants to for his services. My bill was 1224.00 my insurance coverage for this procedure paid 406.50 which is what AETNA figures what is the going price I guess. I now find out that I have to come up with 817.00 out of pocket. My advice to anyone going into the hospital is to check to make sure that everyone on the surgical team is on the same page as your insurance provider. Why does he charge so much more than the other Anesthesiologists. Even his Medicare Record reflects his over the top charges. After 32 years in the business I am sure his student loan is paid off.
