Dr. Syzman is a fine man, and does his very best with his patients, despite the corruption of the police, the hospital administration, and all the unbelievable paranoia that often surrounds Pain Management clinic's. Dr. Charles Syzman, charged with alleviating chronic pain, often with narcotic therapy, probably cares more about people with addiction issues than anyone in the hospital that he serves. And, he knows more about the subject than anyone else also. I give him 5 stars. Great job Doc, your patients love you and support you in this crazy profession that you work in.

I saw Dr. Szyman on a regular basis for years (every 3 months or so). He was my favorite doctor. He took the time to get to know me, answered all of my questions, was aways friendly, always smiling, and never treated me like a number. He made Doc visits an enjoyable experience... not something to dread going to. Regarding the current accusations: That was not my experience at all. I went through a lot prior to pain management with medication... A visit to a specialist, two visits with a surgeon, a 2nd opinion (in a different city), a treatment with the physician who provided the 2nd opinion, chiropractor sessions, physical therapy, MRI's, x-rays, and urine tests. Doctor Szyman also provided alternative and/or additional ideas that he thought may help my situation. And those ideas didn't involve medication. So it's extremely difficult for me to believe the current accusations. Regarding his staff: They're all very friendly with the exception of one of staff member. She was rude, condescending, and rarely, if ever, smiled, from the very first time I went there, all the way through until the time I left (when Dr. Szyman did). As a matter of fact, if I wasn't so impressed with the Doc, I probably would not have ever gone back after that very first visit, just because of the type of reception/service I received initially. But as I said previously, the rest of the staff was always very friendly. I think the current situation is very unfortunate. If Dr. Szyman was still practicing, I would still be a patient of his, and he would still be my favorite doctor.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. Answers all questions and takes the time to know you. Staff are very friendly and helpful too. Wait time is not long. I would recommend Dr Szyman to anyone.

doctor charles szyman is a very good helpful doctor and very experienced. I rated him as he is a very thorough doctor.
