Besides her always running late. She's patronizing, bad tempered, quick to yell at you (the patient) let's see us get away with treat a GP that way. Does not know what she's talk about needs a refresher course in how to treat ppl & medicine.

IMHO i can agree with many poster(s) after experience 1st hand what it's like to be "treated" by her. I didn't want to believe the horrific nitemare tales i had not only heard 1st hand by 3 other ppl i personally know who went to see her (before my referel) & the REVIEWS i had read on here - prior to my appointment. But when about 40 ppl on here NOT only take their time to post & ALL have had very UNpleasant experiences- to say the least- that's putting it mildly. There is something very WRONG with Fehlau. I do hope she loses her licence as she's a LIABILITY & clearly UNstable & a pathetic excuse of a doctor. There is a severe doctor shortage. Yet it does NOT mean WE as ppl should put up with her garbage. Clearly another "doctor" who got into the profession for the MONEY as she does NOT care about patients! I think 1 poster on here said it best & I CONCURR -
SHE IS NOT FIT TO TREAT CADAVERS- let alone human beings!!!

My appointment with her was a nightmare! Rude, abrasive, abrupt, condescending, no empathy. Does NOT understand "chronic pain"! Was told as a 30 yr sufferer of chronic pain by her "you DON'T get inflammation anymore".... Ok right...
Guess my chiropractor, massage therapist, physiotherapist, accupuncturist who treat me & see my imflammation are all wrong....
Oh yeah & the Internet & medical journals.
Is she not under investigation?
Hope she loses her licence... For many reasons,
Especially her horrific "bedside manner"
And I'd expect a moron to say someone does "NOT get imflammmation" with musculoskeletal issues, fibro, arthritis, etc etc way too many chronic pain conditions to list. Again google it.
Don't know what medical school she went too...
But she needs to be NOT treat patients.
Clear she's ONLY in it for the big money.
She can't even give her "prolo injections" withOUT hit a nerve.
Just last yr she was known as the biggest pill narcotic pusher to ppl who don't have pain. Now she only gives prolo where she makes $200 per nerve block.
And she tells you that u can manage ur chronic pain by "meditating alone"....
Clearly delusional.

A mad pit bull has more compassion!
Would someone pls take this so called "pain specialist" licence away....
I'm SO sick of wait to see "specialists" who are useless & yell at you when u merely ask a Q.
And I've got better care from Merck Medical Journal nurses study out of. Pathetic when you have to spend $80 on a med book & hrs research ur pain to optimally treat yourself.

Do not believe what you read here. I was referred to Dr Fehlau by my GP a year ago to see if she could assist with my chronic pain (fibromyalgia) and help reduce the amount of medication I was taking. By seeing Dr Fehlau I greatly reduced the dosage of many medications and was even able to eliminate some I had been on for years. Do not hesitate to see her!!

Anyone can say anything, because you are anonymous here. I think it's a shame to read the below comments, a true reflection on the poster(s). If you have met with Dr. Fehlau you would know that she is knowledgeable and compassionate.

After too long wait time she was in and out. Did not listen to me. Was very rude, cruel, disrespectful. Short tempered. Yelled at me just cause i asked a Q. Worst "doctor" ive ever seen! Think she's psychotic!

This so called "doctor" has mental issues perhaps she is bipoler. She was rude, condescending, yelled at me bring me to tears. She claims to specialize in pain expert. She screamed at me that i should just suck it up & deal with my severe chronic pain. Than she recomend herself paying for injections & than recomend her partner. She is rude, mean, unprofessional & should NOT be practicing. She has no empathy & i don't think she even likes deal with ppl. She's only in it to get money for injections that don't work. I felt worse after than before. She loves to hear herself talk & claims she has pain. After waiting 8 months to see her, you could not pay me to go back. She doesn't prescribe any medication that's approved for musculoskeletal & osteoarthritis & other debilitating chronic pain that interferes with daily life. Which is weird to me because i know many other ppl with less painful conditions were she gave them strong narcotics. Maybe the other poster right & she's under investigation with the medical board. I hope they take her licence away. Seeing her was like walking a tightrope over a pit of ravenous alligators. She was moody & incompetent & there's just something "off" about her. I agree with the last few posters she's NOT FIT to Work on CADAVERS let alone Human Beings. And she fabricates her reports about you & basically slanders u to make u look like a "drug seek junkie" if u stand up to her. I think she should be examined in a psych ward. Worst doctor ive ever seen! Don't even waste ur time with her!

After see this so called pain specialist thru the Walmart walk in clinic. She suggested I'd benefit from HER prolotherapy which is $180 per pop. While she performed her prolotherapy... She ended up hitting a NERVE... I was in MORE pain than bf i saw this "pain specialist". I had seen her several times bf & she was OVER prescribing me Tramadol & NUCYENTA (you can google them) This was ONLY last JUNE 2016.... SO I CONCURR with last POSTER that Fehlau "FABRICATED & LIED IN HER REPORTS".... She also became HOSTILE when i told her i was in MORE pain AFTER she hit a NERVE. On a prior visit I had asked for a medical note to substantiate my pain. And Fehlau became extremely ANGRY & YELLED at me that "IF I WAS WELL ENOUGH TO REMEMBER MY APPOINTMENT WITH HER & MAKE IT TO THE CLINIC THAN I WAS NOT IN PAIN!" She than refused to continue prescribing 1 of the many narcotics she'd been giving me. She displays erratic behaviour, loose cannon & becomes a RAGE CASE if you bring up any of your medical concerns. I've NOT seen her since!

After wait 1 yr to see this "pain specialist" BTW is a GP but self proclaimed "expert in Chronic Pain" i had the DISpleasure of meet her thru the CHRONIC PAIN NURSE CENTRE which I've been go to for almost 2 yrs. Have heard of Fehlaus reputation for bringing her female patients to tears... I insisted that the Nurse sat in on our "meeting" as i will NOT be brought to tears & Screamed at by any "doctor". My appointment was Jan 24 ... Notice HOW "ironically someone GAVE HERSELF 5 STARS out of 5. BACK in 2007 (9 yrs ago) i Slipped on blk ice walk down hill carrying heavy bags in each hand. I FRACTURED my Tailbone & DISlocated my Coccyx. A CPL yrs after that i had CT SCAN done & saw 1 of TOP NEUROSURGEONS while live in Vancouver... He diagnosed me with ARTHRITIS. In 2012 i had another accident result in SEVERE Whiplash. I'd like to PREFACE my TRUE STORY with the FACTS that Dr. FEHLAU...alters her med reports to suit her own AGENDA & LIES. BUT I'll get to that part later. The INTEROGATION BEGAN with Fehlau ask me "WHAT IS MY FORMAL EDUCATION BEYOND HIGH SCHOOL?".... I don't see HOW this is RELEVANT...but answered her Q. I have. JOURNALISM DEGREE & BUSINESS DIPLOMA. FEHLAU proceeded to ask me "where my worst pain is?" I REPLIED BOTH HIPS esp. R Hip, NECK & my tailbone (she didn't get that right in her REPORT of fabrications) That day my Tailbone was severely imflamed. She yelled at me "YOU DON'T HAVE IMFLAMMATION ANYMORE!"...the most MORONIC THING I'D EXPECT TO HEAR FROM A 5 YR OLD LET ALONE A "DOC". And SHE NEVER EXAMINED ME! I know ppl with 30 yr old injuries who still get imflammation. THAN "DOC" FEHLAU proceeded to tell me "I DON'T HAVE ANY ARTHRITIS"... OK... WELL MAYBE AFTER ME PRAY TO GOD THE LAST 9 YRS... HE cured my arthritis. Ironically i got PWD on arthritis & FIBRO... WITH the Latter be as DEBILITATING & PAINFUL with COLD DAMP WEATHER, STRESS, INCREASED PHYSICAL LABOUR, LACK OF SLEEP etc. SHE WAS COMDESCENDING held my newest XRAYS up to my face asking "IS THIS UR NAME? 3x... I REFUSED TO ANSWER. MY nurse who has known me for almost 2 yrs stated she "was proud of me & COULD NOT TELL i was in FULL PANIC ATTACK due to FEHLAU "bedside manner". I was actually VERY SOFT SPOKEN & I SMILED the entire 45 min apt that my cheeks hurt from smiling like the JOKER from Batman. Fehalau STARTED talk MORE about herself & FACT she lived in Vancouver. As i stated that i lived there BUT i had to move BECAUSE I WAS IN SO MUCH PHYSICAL PAIN I COULD NO LONGER WORK! Of course NOT what Fehlau wrote in her FICTITIOUS REPORT! SHE also LIED IN HER REPORT RE: Me. "THAT I BECAME QUITE RESISTANT TO TALK WITH HER & I'M VERY ANXIOUS & AT THE END I BECAME ANGRY".... IN REALITY FEHALAU BECAME ANGRY BECAUSE I CHALLENGED HER IN A CALM VOICE WITH A SMILE ON MY FACE. SHE TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD JUST "MEDITATE MY PAIN AWAY"... BUT WHEN I TOLD HER I WAS SET TO GO ON A VACAY INCL. GRAND CANYON....FEHLAU YELL AT ME "IF UR IN SO MUCH PAIN HOW CAN U GO ON VACAY"... WELL STARE AT 1 OF 7 WONDERS OF WORLD SURELY WOULD HAVE TAKEN MY 8 LEVEL PAIN TO 0...accord to HER! THAN MY MEDS CAME UP & FEHLAU STATES I SHOULD NOT BE ON TRAMADOL (NOT A NARCOTIC!) NOR EMTEC. THAN I TOLD HER 8 MONTHS AGO (& I'VE GOT PIC TO PROVE IT) SHE PRESCRIBED MY EX 360 ULTRAM FOR 1 MONTH! Incl. REAL NARC NUCYENTA (BTW ur NOT supposed take 2 together could result in death) SHE DIDN'T LIKE TRUTH... A PICS WORTH 1000 WORDS. SO IN HER REPORT FEHLAU LIED STATE "SHE has NOT PRESCRIBED ULTRAM NOR NUCYENTA FOR LAST 2-3 YRS" WHEN IN REALITY SHE OVER PRESCRIBED THEM BOTH TO MY EX 8 MONTHS AGO! I DID REFRAIN FROM SHARE WITH HER THAT WHEN SHE GAVE MY EX HER "PROLOTHERAPY SHE HIT A NERVE"...& HE HAD TO PAY ANOTHER DR. TO FIX HIM... SO SHE DID MORE DAMAGE TO HIM THAN B4 HE SAW HER. AT END OF OUR APT. I ASKED FEHLAU "BTW DO U READ UR ONLINE REVIEWS? Cause LAST 2 R HILARIOUS!" I MEAN ACCOLADES TO "SHE'S NOT FIT TO WORK ON CADAVERS LET ALONE HUMAN BEINGS"... I COULD SEE SMOKE COME FROM HER EARS. U CAN'T PAY ME ENOUGH TO SEE THIS IMHO MENTALLY ILL SADISTIC LIAR. ACCEPT FOR WHEN I NEED A HYSTERECTOMY... THAN I'LL GO HAVE A PAP DONE BY HER AS I HEAR THAT'S WHAT SHE'S GOOD AT. I PLAN ON FILE A MEDICAL REPORT. GOD I PRAY THIS "DR's LICENSE IS REVOKED. I'D SEE A VET B4 EVER SEE THIS WITCH AGAIN. CRYING SHAME WE LIVE IN A SOCIETY TODAY WHERE "DOCTORS" HAVE ALL THE POWER... INCL TO SLANDER YOU...IN THEIR MED REPORT CAUSE YOU HAD THE BACKBONE TO STAND UP TO HER. FACT I'VE GOT A PIC OF MY EXES PILL BOTTLE WITH FEHLAUS NAME ON IT... GIVE HIM 360 TRAMADOL PER MONTH (BTW MORE THAN RECOMENDED DOSE) & FEHLAU PRESCRIBE NUCYENTA AS WELL & KNOW HE WAS ON VALIUM... I'M SURPRISED SHE HASN'T KILLED SOMEONE YET. PLS LET ME KNOW HOW & WHERE I CAN FILE A MEDICAL REPORT AGAINST THIS "DR".
