If there was a 0 star option, I would click it. This doctor is the most vindictive, arrogant, vile human being I have crossed paths with. I was refered to this doctor for my chronic illnesses and put my trust in her to help me. At first things seemed to be okay, then each follow up appointment became more alarming to me. Finally I was yelled at and accused for fabricating my chronic illness. She said she doesn’t believe me, I’m a liar and she doesn’t know if she can treat me any longer. Luckily I had to courage to terminate our care contract immediately and know that kind of behaviour is unacceptable. I feel terrible for her other victims and hope this doctor has her license revoked. Reading the other comments brought me comfort that I am not alone and I wasn’t crazy for witnessing this vile behaviour. I have never had a health care professional yell at me or let alone near me. When I told my GP about it she was mortified and I was sure to contact her immediately after the incident before this doctor sent her false information. After being hospitalized for such severe pain (to the point I fainted), she said I was never to return to a hospital unless I was “dying, a organ is failing or I’m in a fatal accident”. She also told me that I need to meditate and it will cure all my pain. I truly think she has a mental health disorder due to her brain injury and I do not think she is fit to practice medicine. My heart goes out to others suffering from pain and was abused by this bully. My prayer is to have another resource in our area to help people succeed. I will be filing a report against her and attaching all the other complaints with it.

Just disgusting and unbelievable.

The one stars for the staff and punctuality don't reflect my rating at the Nursing Clinic, my rating is based on this specialist. Had a very negative experience with Dr Fehlau months ago and thought I should rate because I'm still trying to remove the damaging messaging about my pain that she gave me. She was extremely belittling the whole appointment and dismissive of the pain and struggle I was going through. She really wanted to nail into me that my pain will never go away and that I must learn to live with it and it will never change. She made me feel really stupid for wanting to find a solution or ways to cope and basically said "do you want people to lie to you" about my pain. I also recall her saying "sh*t happens" when I said that this is my life that she is so loosely talking about. Her attitude is horrible (assuming because of her pain outcomes) but that shouldn't have anything to do with me as a patient. I never went back to her. Her appointment was traumatizing and I am still undoing the mental damage that she did with her messaging. I wish I read reviews before my visit with her.
On a positive note, I am making much further progress and have specialists and doctors that I am working with that believe my pain and are helping me search for the answers and changes to make.

Astonishing how many people had such a bad experience with Dr Fehlau. I have chronic pain and with the help of a very thorough background research on me, done by the Nursing Centre (Maggie StAubrey) Dr Fehlau knew exactly what I needed.

I did get the impression that she was somewhat tired and not the best listener. (She has chronic pain too). But seeing as she immediately got me the perfect and most incredibly safe pain med I am was eternally grateful.

Extremely unprofessional. Used her position as GP to recommend a private appointment with her. Spent every single appointment telling me about her own pain leaving no time for the issue I had made an appointment for.
Has no boundaries. Used her position to proselytise about her faith.
Doesn’t listen and isn’t interested in anything except herself.

Dr Fehlau is the first doctor who truly listen to me after 50 years of being in pain. It took a long time to get into her but once I did I felt I was in a good place. I tried a lot of the treatments she offered but unfortunately none of them worked. She stood up for me and honestly understood the pain I am in. I would recommend her to anyone, being in pain is a horrible way to live so it is nice to have a dr who gets it!!!

This "doctor" IS a pain crisis come to the CV. Her idea of treating malignant pain is to meditate.

*Try sleeping in pain let alone meditation. 

Unfortunately,  she is the only pain doctor in the valley so that means all the other doctors weigh her opinion way too heavily if she says no (and she WILL say no).

*because her pain is stronger than your pain so you don't need pain control.

*Then you can guarantee all the other doctors will be afraid to treat you ( you are either against her or you're really against her - this is her opinion).

Vindictive, mean, and very judgemental, she has suffered a major head injury in the past and so her pain is always worse than your pain (please, for the sake of everybody in pain please retire/quit) her Universal opinion is humanity does not need pain control (see meditation above, she's a pain clinic remember?). I'm not saying this because I'm a drug seeker, I'm saying this because she did so much damage to my medicare after seeing her for 2 years (been dealing with this condition for 20). I hoped that it would get better after passing all the pee tests and spending time with her as a Dr. No, its been impossible to get back on the right track road to recovery.

She causes all the other doctors to be afraid to see you (she loves to overrule your doctor, as another doctor's opinion is always below her).

Is it Petty to mention that she'll charge you $30 for damn near everything that inconveniences her?.

And boy oh boy, does she love her urine tests.

I have been seeing Dr. Fehlau for a few years now. I continue to go because there is no other alternative. Some days she is okay but lots of times she is just plain mean. I don't take drugs so this is not a drug wannabe person. She has even threatened to withhold treatment to me because I was upset and said the glucose treatments won't work if your upset. I was upset because I was in so much pain. If you don't stand up to her she is okay but if you try she gets very nasty. I've learned how to handle her emotional ways so I can get treatment..but I never look forward to going there. She just asks me where I want the shots but never tells me that this pain could be stemming from here or there..that being said sometimes the treatments do help so its still worth putting up with her personality..
