Dr. Brownstone is an incredible surgeon. He is very understanding of the needs of his patients and their families. He was at my side reassuring me as I was receiving my anaesthetic in the OR, which made me feel 100% comfortable going into my brain surgery. I was beyond confident in his abilities, and had no doubt that I would have a positive outcome. Dr. Brownstone is laid back but very professional at the same time. He is extremely caring, and compassionate. Follow up appointments in clinic have always been great experiences. He does not rush his patients, takes time to answer any questions, and goes beyond his role as a surgeon to ensure proper follow up care is in place prior to sending his patients home. The very best!

I would never see this doctor(??????) again. Very Very ARROGANT and IGNORANT. Does not listen. Has no idea about pain. If he cannot see the problem is does not exist. Have a great life Brownstone.

Dr.Brownstone performed my brain surgery lined up by Dr. Mark Sadler. Because of Dr. Rob Brownstones acts of god n' beyond, I do not have epilepsy anymore. After living w/ it for 26yrs, from 6 weeks old, up until Sept.10th 2007, Dr.Brownstone performed my brain surgery that for the first time, let me take my first breath fear free of what might happen if I go into another seizure today, who's goin' to be embarrassed to be with me if I do goin' into a seizure, n' how to not become the laughin' stock if I grand-mal on the floor because of doing normal things like drinkin' at party's on the weekend. I was able to take that one breath, finally able to see that I would be able to complete life on my own, w/ no assistance and become independent and not rely on people for transportation, no ask relatives for loans because of not having health insurance on a $220 /mth (2) medication(s) and see see horizons. Rob Brownstone performed the surgery that made my D.O.B. 26yrs after I was born. :)

Simply the best! Very kind, intelligent, and willing to all he can for his patients. A strong patient advocate, and very supportive during difficult circumstances. Explains procedures in an understandable manner, and shows respect towards his patients. Actually makes it easier to trust a physician to do risky neurosurgery!

Always kind, compassionate and understanding. His bedside manner is unequalled. He takes the time to listen and answers with honesty under often difficult circumstances. Willing to meet the whole family and answers in a down to earth manner that all can understand. Would not see anyone else!
