My wife and I have been Dr. McElmurry's patients for over 40 years and delivered all our babies. He has a great sense of humor and took time to find out what was going on with me. Have had lots of issues over the last 15 years as I got older. He helped me deal with those issues with the proper meds as needed. Saddened by his passing.

Dr. M is a pill mill. Idk know what dr ur seeing. He addicts people to 60s era meds and then uses their dependence to manipulate them. He is a far right crazy and his whole office is papered in propaganda. I know multiple pts of his. All have left after bad outcomes and terrible experiences in the clinic as the dr doesn’t care how offensive he is if he is in a bad mood, if u don’t comply with his every request, and especially if ur a dem. Worst dr in town. From a 40 year resident. And if u don’t believe me, he DELIVERED me. I know.

After reading all of the reviews I would be willing to bet that all of the 1 or 2 star reviews are people who probably went to him to try to get pain meds and then they realized it wasn’t a pill mill so now they are mad. Lol. What a joke these people are. Shame on all of you for making false accusations. Been a patient for almost 25 years and I have NEVER had a problem. So yah, those reviews are false. If you have a medical situation and you want an answer, call his office and there is a VERY good chance you will figure out what is going on and get better!

Dr. McElmurry is a hidden gem. He is a seasoned general practitioner with solid roots in the community. He takes time to explain why he is ordering tests and what the results mean. I love Betty! She is a wonderful nurse who is skilled technically and in the art of caring. The entire office works hard to get me in right away when I need them. You do not get shuffled around because the team is small.



Now ... the carpet might not be brand new - you might not share the same taste in magazines and you can wait awhile, at times - but you will be seen if needed. Your "My Chart" might actually look more like an actual chart. It's definitely not boring and I like being away from the larger health systems.

I have a family of 3, we all see this Dr. He has referred us to specialist as needed. He is very knowledgeable and proficient. One of the specialist I see, said Dr Mcelmurry did all the necessary testing and legwork so that it made it easier for the specialisn't to treat me. His office staff is loving and kind. Dr Mcelmurry is one of the best!!

I have been seeing Dr McElmurry for 30 years. He has referred me to others specialist when needed but ultimately when it comes down to it and the specialist can't help, Dr M steps in to lend a hand. Many times I have avoided the ER for severe dehydration because Dr M works with his patients and does what's best for his patients. I am very grateful he has stuck by side through my illness. He is an excellent Dr who truly cares about his patients. His office staff is very committed, they have gone above and beyond several times to make sure things go smoothly. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. McElmurry's for over 30 years. He is very knowledgeable and will diligently work to find the solution to your health problem. If he is unable he will not hesitate to refer to a specialist. He diagnosed my husband's diabetes and keeps vigilant care of him. He has seen me through many health issues . He listens to what you say and takes time with you. We are very confident and satisfied totally with Dr. His staff is very helpful and treat us like family.

My Mom was sick for years while seeing Dr. M. He kept saying she was having panic attacks, migraines and other illnesses. She asked to see a neurologist and he wouldn't refer her to one. Turns out she had been having mini strokes. She finally went to a new doctor, they sent her to a neurologist who did an MRI and found evidence of the strokes. He is also very right wing politically. If he finds out you're a democrat, he yells at you and talks down to you like you're stupid.

Very thankful for this Dr. And his staff. They have heart and will not turn their back when times are tough. They are real!! Nothing is easy...including the truth at times.

He didn't catch my dads cancer in time. Kept telling him he was ok!! He wasn't, he died. Had he caught the cancer sooner he might still be alive!
