Waited 20 minutes when I first arrived and 1.5 hours AFTER the drops had been put in. Total time in the office was 2.5 hours!

An older, experienced doctor, who does not prepare very well for the - very short- visits, so does not remember patient specifics, nor does he really listen to your concerns. Answers by quickly dismissing your concerns-- sometimes he probably didn't even listen to what you said-- which can make him come across as arrogant, and/or mainly efficiency oriented (squeezing as many patients in a day as possible, with minimum time "wasted"). His lack of interest/ attention makes you realize that you will get your 10 minutes and that's it. You do depend on him. So don't ask questions. Next.

I fully trust Dr Piemontesi. He has replaced the lenses in both my eyes and given me laser treatments. Could not ask for a more thorough and competent doctor.

I am also, thankfully, an ex patient of this doctor and echo the comments of the poor person who’s glaucoma was neglected for years just like mine. He has an arrogant manner and does not like you asking questions. Sadly, I lost quite a lot of sight during this time of neglect even though my optometrist referred me to him during early glaucoma. I, thankfully, now have a professional, kind, respectful and client focussed ophthalmologist.

2 hours for a follow up is not cool. He did not seem keen to help with my concerns. Staff is excellent. Can’t comment on his knowledge because I know nothing about his specialty.

Very frustrated with his communication style. Seems so arrogant I'm now uncomfortable even asking any questions. Also frustrated with so many separate appointments. Surely there is a way to minimize repeated trips in to the office.
