Took a while to get this appointment scheduled as they only had one person running the office at the time. Now there are several working the operations. Dr. DiMarco is restarting his practice from a 15-month sabbatical. Being in healthcare, I know a good physician when I see one. He was personable and spent a lot of time with me as a first patient. These days, doctors are on a clock of 15 minutes and that is it. He spent a good 30-45 minutes to get my background as I have had a lot going on this year. He set up some bloodwork and my bone densitometry baseline study. He did not insist on setting up another appointment (money annuity program) after the labs and study that he would call with the results. That is if everything is good if not, then an appointment. He was very thorough and personable. He is old style where patients not money comes first. I highly recommend.

Excellent MD specializing in Endocrinology. Being a Nurse, I am very fussy about MDs that I choose to help manage my care. Dr. DiMarco is very knowledgeable, thorough, kind and patient.

Wow, just stay away from this doctor. What a piece of work. Seriously, if you need health services, you are waisting your time in going to this man. He got absolutely nothing done and has some shady ways of handling his office. His unprofessional tendencies can lead to needing to find a new doctor, so it is much better to know beforehand to stay clear.

I started seeing Dr. DiMarco about 8 months to a year ago so I am not a new patient. I had scheduled an appointment approximately 8 months ago and was required to submit lab work prior to my appointment. Once Dr. DiMarco had received my lab results at the very beginning of October he contacted me, letting me know it wasn't necessary for me to come in for my scheduled appointment because lab results looked great. He gave me some small details about my hormone range and needing to lay off energy drinks. He also let me know that I would not need to come in November for the appointment that I had scheduled since I had just recently submitted lab work. DiMarco stated that I would just need to call his office when my prescription needed to be filled and at that point I could go ahead and schedule an appointment 6 months out from the time my lab work was done (which would be February). Today I call the office to let them know I need to come pick up my next prescription. The receptionist was extremely rude and put me on hold for 10 minutes. After waiting for 10 minutes someone picked up the phone and hung up. It took me another 10 minutes to get the office back on the phone again. This time it was another woman that answered. She said she could not locate me in their system. I gave her my name again and DOB. At that point she questioned if I was actually a patient at the office. Finally after verifying all possible information, she realized that my name was spelled wrong in their system. Once she pulled my file I explained the reason for my call; that Dr. DiMarco had instructed that I call to let them know when I needed a refil. She told me that I was a NCNS for my November appointment and that I could not get a refill without discussing my lab results with the Dr. DiMarco. I explained to her that Dr. DiMarco had already gone over my lab results with me and told me I didn't need to come in until after the first of the year. She continued to tell me that she had worked there for 22 or so years, and he wouldn't give out that information over the phone and that he would never refil my prescription without going over my lab results. I told her again that he had already gone over my lab results with me and that he told me I did not need to be seen until after the first of the year. I again tried to tell her that he and I already discussed the results over the phone. At that point she rudely said that I was just being repetitive and the conversation was over. I told her that I would come in and speak to him. I immediately went to his office so I could pick up my much needed prescription. When I walked up to the counter the receptionist held up a piece of paper attached to a file with "GET A NEW DOCTOR" written on it. She asked in a very rude tone "is this you?". There was no name on the paper or anything so I said I don't know. She said "it must be you" that she had let the doctor know that I had previously screamed at her on the phone, (which I did not) and that I needed to be seen by another doctor. I again let her know that he and I had already spoke and that I would have no way of knowing that my triglycerides were high and I needed to lay off the energy drinks, had I not spoke to Dr. DiMarco about my lab results. She stated that someone must be lying and she couldn't accuse her boss of that. I asked multiple times to speak to Dr. DiMarco and her exact words were "he is refusing to speak to you and he says that he never spoke to you on the phone". I pulled up my phone records to show that he and I had a 6 minute and 59 second conversation about my lab results. Her response was that she knows the policies and he wouldn't have given me the information over the phone and I needed to have been seen in November to get a refill. I could hear Dr. DiMarco behind the door talking with other staff. When I asked to speak to him again, the woman told me he is refusing to speak to you because he claims you two never spoke. At the end of all of this she gave me a prescription and said that I needed to be seen by a different doctor once my prescription runs out and Dr. DiMarco refuses to see me again. It is extremely important that I have my prescription when I need it, as I'm sure Dr. DiMarco knows since he is a "medical professional". What took place with Dr. DiMarco and his staff was uncalled for. I will be contacting the BBB and anyone else I can about what took place today.

Took me immediately when my internist called for an urgent app't. Dr. was friendly, concerned, knowledgable, easy to talk to, answered all my questions, didn't rush me though it was a Fri.--meaning a 1/2 day for him. Conducted a 1 hr. test during which he frequently checked on me and offered and brought me water, asked if I was comfortable, etc. Also funny sometimes---great attitude. I feel confident as his patient.
