Well she was a great doctor she always great with me and listened to my problems and helped me with WSIB and came to c me when I was in the hospital I wish she was still practicing but she became ill and couldn't practice anymore

Let me clear this up for everyone. This dr. Was practicing medicine while being in full active addiction. She lead me down a terrible path that took me years to get myself out of. The fact she was allowed to practice medication and prescribe ppl with drugs is insane. Thank God she is no longer practicing bc she is a drug addict and I truly hope she has been able to herself.

Was my doctor tell i was. 12 then was M.I.A she never really helped me or my family i have never met a doctor more messed up then her and honestly i hope she has gotten better then the quack she was

Dr. Atkinson was my family doctor for over 20 years. I first started seeing her when I was 14. I am very sad that she is no longer practicing. I have yet to find a doctor as good as she was. Hope she is well. An amazing being.

I am so glad this Dr is no longer practising... I just happened to look at this as I am searching for a female Dr in the area and came upon her reviews my family left her practice years ago after a major negligent and careless mistake that could have cost our family member that persons life.. as you notice I will not put gender/ time or cause for this as like in another review some one put up she bullies negative reviewers and with us she sent a legal letter remove the rating .... Even though it was 100 percent true... our family member felt intimidated and was already going thru enough with out the added stress...

Other than the fact that she was always running behind schedule I have no complaints about Dr. Atkinsons care over the many years she was my doctor. Posters are complaining because she became ill and unavailable, moved, and then retired on disability? Nice.

My doctor for almost 20 years. Dr Atkinson has always been very personable, and helpful. She spends a lot of time with me dealing with anything I ask her, etc. She did change her place of practice twice during the time I have been with her, and in 2012 she was not available for much of the year, which later, I learned, was due to her serious illness, which she had to take off time to recover. She is a very busy doctor, and as with all doctors, one must be sure to talk to her about anything that you might need because otherwise they might get missed. Simply a matter of time. Yes sometimes you have to wait, but that seems to be the case with most doctors.

let me get this straight.2 days b4 appt. we get call from staff saying find a new dr. we havent heard from her in a month. we find a new dr. guess what? within a few months she's up and running somewhere else.I have NEVER been so disappointed in a physician in my life. luckily, we have found a wonderful and extremely competent new physician.

Dr.Atkinson has been absolutely fantastic, I couldnt ask for a better GP. Only issue is she's dropped off the face of the planet at the moment and I dont know if I need to be looking for another doc or not. Does anyone know if this is permanent? I cant get any information from anyone.
