Dr Vaz is amazing. I don't always understand every word he says(fast talker)but he is always spot on regarding diagnosis. He seems to have extra sensory powers in that regard. He has been working long and hard for many years. I hope he does not retire until my children are too old to see him anymore.

More than 20 years ago I took my son to the ER because he was vomiting and had a high fever. Thank goodness Dr. Vaz was the Dr. on that night. He knew right away that my son had meningitis and immediately admitted him. The nurses told me that any other Dr. probably would have just said he had the flu, but because of Dr. Vaz's knowledge, he saved my son's life. I will be eternally grateful to him.

Our children seen this doctor from birth to adulthood. Although he does occaisionally speak to fast you must appreciate the knowledge that this man possesses. In a pinch we have had to see other doctors when he was away, but never found the degree of knowledge and compassion shown by Dr Vaz. As far as the person who complains that every kid has asthma according to Dr. Vaz, I have found that the rate of occurance is unusually high in this city, and that is not just Dr. V saying so. He is excellent I just hope when he retires that the city is lucky enough to get someone who is as knowledgeable and caring as he is. Thanks for being one of the Good Guys!!!

Every child has asthma according to Dr. Vaz. He talks too fast as well which causes one to miss important information.

Walkin is a big wait but that shows something! He has been great with my kids. Diagnosed my son at 3 months with urine reflux - was very thorough and helpful.

I find him to be a great kids doctor and a very nice man.One look at his waiting room and you can tell he must be great,everyone goes to him.

Expect to wait a minimum of 30 mins for an appointment - usually closer to an hour. This can become difficult with small kids. He is a child specialist and is quit knowledgable. A couple month wait time to make an appointment but does have walk in hours
