Not many things are as necessary, difficult, and concerning as open heart surgery. Remarkably, DR Quantz, his assistant Jennifer, and the rest of the care givers at the London Health Sciences Center are absolutely exceptional. Where there could easily be confusion and fear, they supply answers and support.
I'm 55, not out of shape but still required a quadruple bypass thanks to genes. Uncomfortable and painful....sure, but also life extending!! There is no description of how grateful I am !!

I had my triple bypass on Monday. So far everything looks to be on skedule. Recovery is hard don't full yourself with stories from the internet.
So far the storyline states it will get better. I will update my recovery everi week.

My mother had a triple hart bypass in 08 doctor quantz was very friendly and explained everything that could go wrong he was very good on how the surgery went and and after the surgery he explained hoe well it went would recommend him tp anyone

I had aortic valve replacement & 2 bypasses in March 2022. Dr. Quantz gave me a new lease on my 75 year old life. He discusses in detail & in lay persons terms what will happen during surgery & after surgery. He has a terrific bed side manner. My wife & I feel blessed that I am one of his patients & under his care.

I had open heart surgery on November 1, 2021. Dr. Quantz was my surgeon. When I first met him, my wife and I felt reassured with his quiet and kind profession manner. He told me that his job was to get me back on my bicycle in April and playing shinny with my friends in October. His team was excellent in making my stay at the hospital as comfortable as could be. I owe these next few years to you and your team. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I had triple bypass surgery in March of 2014. It couldn't have gone better!

I had a triple bypass surgery in October 2012. It was supposed to be 3 hours long but ended up being 6 hours. He told the family I came through with flying colours!! He gave me a new lease on life. Thank you

VERY thorough!It eased our family's mind that though my father's medical history was extensive and complicated, Dr.Quantz educated himself on my father's medical history entirely. Dr. Quantz ordered many tests prior to surgery to ensure it was my father's best option and that he knew all the risks and benefits to surgery.
My father successfully made it through the surgery because of Dr.Quantz! After he has recovered fully, he will hopefully feel like a new man and live a more fulfilling life because of this doctor's skill.

Cancelled surgery minutes prior decided on a a procedure that failed days before to have it fail again and send home effectively giving my dad a death sentence he needed the surgery. Thinks he knows best but communicates with nobody to even know what the heck has already been done. Does not listen and will not speak to family.

He successfully did my dad's triple bypass and when he saw I was waiting alone, he helped me carry in the bags to see my dad. So down too earth.
He's a busy surgeon, so there is a lot of waiting, but be patient and it will work out.
