I used to think it was just that she was young and that with time she would gain the experience but it has been over 7 years now and she has become rude at times, cocky, and sometimes condescending in her manner. trying to find another doctor, but it is hard to find female doctors out there.

I am surprised by the negative comments here, as my experiences with Dr Ferrin have been quite good. I found that she listened attentively and asked pertinent questions. She did suggest a test that I did not feel would help diagnose my (still) undiagnosed pain problem, but I haven't found a doctor yet who hasn't done that. I plan on returning to Dr Ferrin once the results of a CT scan are in since the internal medicine doc I went to recently was of less help and cost more out of pocket for me to see.

Dr. Ferrin is psychotic. Her moods change in an instance and she has no respect for her patients. She tries treating patients by giving them a "flyer" with no follow up. Worst bedside manner. She had no idea what my diagnosis was or how to treat me.

Dr. Ferrin does not have a good bedside manner. She dismisses your complaints, and does not listen. She sent me for very expensive tests, and they all came back "normal" but I was still having issues. She did not suggest any follow up care at all. I am now seeing a different doctor and am getting the help I needed a year ago. If what you have isn't one of the things she's familiar with, forget it, there's nothing wrong with you. I did not like the tone she used with me, very condesceding. I find her rude.

Dr. Ferrin is not the type of doctor that will listen to you. She comes in the room, already sure of what is wrong with you, tells you what's up, and then leaves. Every time I have gone to her, I leave upset and even more frustrated. I have seen other doctors right after her (for a second opinion)--boy was I glad I did that! She had misdiagnosed what was wrong and did not recommend physical therapy (which I really needed)...Save your money and your time and go see another doctor!

I feel with more years as a doctor she will be good, but right now I don't feel she connects with me, me being a senior. I would like to have more extensive care than I am getting. It is also very hard to get into see her in less than a month or six weeks, so if you have an immediate problem, chances of seeing her are slim.

Dr. ferrin is an awesome doc. She is extremely punctual & takes plenty of time to answer all questions. She was our fam doc for several yrs til a change of ins required us to see someone else. My daughter had a stomach prob that no other doc could figure out & Dr. Ferrin did research & kept at it until she found the solution. She does not believe that everything can be cured with a pill which I appreciate, but she also is not stingy with needed medication. I have an old neck injury and she even coordinated with my chiropractor on diagnosis & treatment.
