Dr. Kilgore nearly killed me. She ignored my complaints for nearly 2 years that there was something wrong with me. I was having extremely painful, bloody periods that lasted for weeks, then would stop for months. It was to the point I was anemic from blood loss. I told her I was concerned I had cancer. She told me I should just lose weight. I told her I could feel a lump in my abdomen and she said I didn't know what I was even feeling and gave me birth control pills and patted me on my head on my way. I kept coming back to her and asking for help and was brushed off.
I was in so much pain I went to an internist and she could feel the lump. She got me a CT scan that day, but said it was probably nothing and not to worry. 3 days later I came home to about 10 phone calls from the clinic on the answering machine. Gee whiz, I HAD CANCER!
I was diagnosed with stage 4B uterine cancer. Told I had 3 months to live. Told that had I been properly cared for, I would possibly still be able to have children.
Dr. Kilgore should be stripped of her license. To this day, 10 years later I have still never had an apology from that woman.
