Dr Reed Young is one of the most personable physicians I have ever known. She is knowledgeable and clever and I recommend her to anyone who has sleep disorder.

She is ADHD and easily goes off on tangents. She can be dismissive and arrogant. She may espouse opinions as empirical fact. Wait times are 2-3 hours. If something is good, it's worth waiting for. Not in this case. Time to retire...

Since leaving the diagnostic clinic to start her own practice, I have been absolutely happy with her. She's very knowledgeable about sleep disorders and how they relate to other health problems. She is also very knowledgeable about migraines. When she encounters something she doesn't know much about, she readily provides referrals to very good doctors. She listens to patients without being dismissive and takes as much time as needed before completing the visit (this is why she tends to be behind schedule, but it's worth it). She does speak and think very quickly so you have to have a lot of snap to keep up with her but she does not talk down to you. Her new staff is very helpful. I have recommended her to many people.

Dr. Young is a very good doctor, knowledgeable about a wide range of medicine and willing to refer out if it's not her specialty. She listened carefully to all I said, acted appropriately, and followed up. She has a lovely demeanor and I would confidently refer friends to her.

She was the only one to diagnose my condition. (I had been to several neurologists). She also found I had terrible sleep apnea and asthma. she readily referred me to other doctors as needed and was very fast with test results.

like some of the others - she is a very pleasant person - nice bedside manner but did not offer much for my problem - I had already been to another neuro and basically the same situation -switched to an internist who immediately started me on thyroid therapy + pain management which has alleviated most of my conditions.
