she should not be working in an eating disorders clinic. she knows absolutely nothing about it. she lets the patients see their weight, is openly rude to patients and tells them their not “sick enough”. she needs to be removed from the eating disorders clinic before she seriously hurts someone.

this doctor has said very unprofessional things to me, has said my eating disorder “isn’t bad”, touched my self harm without permission, and said that my eating isn’t bad enough to be put into the ed treatment center.

she said comments that should never EVER be said to a persons with an eating disorder. the two appointments i had with her, the comments will stick in my head forever. she should not be working with kids, nor people with disordered eating

It really is a good thing you are retiring. How you have the audacity to work with children with your bedside manor and degrading attitude towards children's illnesses is beyond me. You have made it very clear that you dont care to help children at this point because you are retiring and your practice is closing. Do you still take in patients just for the money? Why do you still have hospital privileges when you dont have any interest in helping them or even reading the files of those referred to you because your practice is closing. I should be reporting you to the college for your behavior. Its bad enough some doctors brush off adult patients real symptoms because they cant 'see' them. But kids? That is a whole other level of cruel. Shameful. Do us all a favor and retire right now so kids can get proper care.

I have 5 children and I must agree with all of the previous posts in regards to lack of care! Now what is that saying! Everyone was bang on with regards to care and making the parents feel completely incompetent. Even the nurses knew she was treating us unfairly and incompetently. She doesn’t want to listen to what the parents have to say and for that unfortunately my child will suffer. She was undermining 4 doctors and the xray professionals. She has created a bad name for herself. Very unprofessional. We all have jobs to do in this world and she needs to be reminded of this because she maybe on the other end of an unfortunate situation in her “golden years” and look to us for assistance. These children you are failing “doctor” grow up and may have to be there for you in your time of need. Shame on you. RETIRE & SAVE THE CHILDREN!!

My son didn’t get a chance to see this doctor due to circumstances beyond our control (she called in sick last minute). So when we tried to rebook I learned the doctor wanted to fire my son as a patient. What kind of person does that to an innocent child who’s done nothing wrong but has a serious medical concern, he was waiting months to see her. It’s very unfortunate Dr.Blacklock treated us in this fashion.

I love Dr. .Blacklock, at first I wasn't too sure what to think, but the more I have dealings with her, the more I like her.

Dr. Elaine Blacklock...... it's all about her and she really don't care for what the parent tell her about your child's Behavior and to help us in figuring out a way for me to deal with my my child and to get the proper treatment for him. All she found to do was to make me look like I was crazy and took my child away through Children's Aid. A year later it was found that there was nothing wrong with how I was behaving with him I was doing everything right. She was telling them that I didn't care about him and I didn't want him anymore. What kind of doctor would do something like that she's a real bully. So what she did was to create turmoil in our family. She's a bully she definitely cause me and my child great pain to separate us. This is the kind of help I got that is just unbelievable. she shouldn't be taken care of kids and have this kind of power over the children. The problem here was she didn't know what to do so just to get rid of the situation that was her answer sad very sad

Unprofessional, rude and totally disrespectful to children. Should not be working with eating disorders or teenagers . Also called CFS on us when as parents we were seeking treatment and help for our child. If you want more stress see her.
