Dr. Buigas is an excellent physician and wouldn't change her for anyone.

Many doctors aren't necessarily charming, but they know their stuff and you still can appreciate their competence. I wish I could say that about Dr. Buigas. Unfortunately, she goes out of her way to lodge discourtesies on patients like it's her favorite sport. And not only is she nasty but she also is flat out incompetent. The second opinions I've gotten always agree she's wrong. This lady is a complete joke. On top of that, her office is very badly managed. The receptionist is unresponsive and passive aggressive. The only medical assistant seems to be afraid of the doctor and the receptionist. Customer service is also very bad: they don’t answer phone calls and if you leave a message, they don’t call you back. The office is open only 3 and a half days a week. They also close the office whenever they want and without notice. If you've suffered from her malpractice and offensive insults, please don't stay silent any longer.

I do NOT recommend Dr. Buigas AT ALL. She is very unstable and erratic and does not care for her patients. For no reason, she started to scream at me and told me to get out of her office and not to come again. She did not care about my ongoing treatment and left me out in the cold without letting me know what to do next in reference to my medical condition. Very unprofessional! In addition, her office is a nightmare. There is only one, very rude receptionist and only one medical assistant. Waiting times are super long, and there is no website, no email, no portal, just a phone number that is mostly not answered and your messages are ignored. The practice is unprofessional and disrespectful with customers. They are abusive, rude and dismissive of any requests you may have.

Dr. Buigas is an excellent physician; however, her office management/staff is horrible. First of all, it is is very difficult to talk with the receptionist. Every time I call the line is either busy or the answering service is on, and when they do answer the phone they answer quickly "please hold" and place the call on hold for more than 30 minutes. I made an appointment with three months in advance, and the day of the appointment they called me early in the morning to cancel and they agreed to call me back to reschedule and they never did. I called today and the receptionist told me that they don't have any appointments for the next three months. I feel they don't treat patients with respect, and Dr. Buigas should get rid of all her office staff.

I was a patient of Dr. Buigas since 2003 . She was excellent, professional and kind. She took her time in her clinical examination . I was under her care for about 12 year and my mother was also her pt. I was never giving an explanation of why did not want it to be my Dr. What they did to my mother was different they would give her appts. That they would cancelled the day before. When my mother when to the office to find out what was happening they told her that the Dr did not need extra stress and that the Dr was not feeling well . Her office services went from excellent to poor without an explanation to her patient. I really feel sorry to have loss her as my dr. I trusted her with my health and my mother's health.

I had an appointment scheduled for a Monday. I received a letter in the mail the Saturday before my appointment saying Dr. Buigas would no longer be seeing me as a patient. I thought she was more professional and honorable than that. I've been seeing her for ten years and this was rather shoddy behavior on her part. I tolerated her incompetent staff and 40 minute to more than one hour waits in her waiting room on most occasions. From looking at the overall ratings of other patients I see that her staff is found to be deficient by most. Living in Miami I am having difficulty finding a doctor who can see me before June. Canceling my appointment at the last minute was unconscionable!

Dr.Buigas is kind and was very helpful with her service; however, I was charged for services i did not ask for and her staff is beyond the worst to deal with. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend.
