Outstanding, caring and compassionate. By reputation one of the best cardiothoracic surgeons in Canada. Very precise in his explanations, he made sure that I understood exactly what was to happen in my care and the follow-up attention was excellent. He was genuinely interested in my care, answered all my questions and made me feel quite comfortable in his knowledge and the medical team. He would take time to meet with me on numerous occasions when visiting others in the hospital, His after-surgery care was excellent. I found him to be focused and dedicated to patient care. Personable, friendly, humorous, strong-willed and passionate in personality. The staff in the hospital and my family doctor all said I was fortunate to have him as the surgeon. If I was ever to need further care I would go only to Dr. Moustapha.

Very knowledgeable, compassionate, punctual, stern but pleasant, kind and easy to talk to. This cardiology surgeon is a man you trust because of the way he handles his patients by explaining the consequences prior to surgery and explains what has and is happening to you. I put my life in his hands, seven by-passes, and I am so glad that I did. He told me I must walk even if it is difficult to do so in order to recover and he is so right. Would recommend him to anyone needing open heart surgery.

He is very caring and explains everything to you. I had a lobectomy done due to cancer and he always put me at ease and checked in every 2nd day while I was in the hospital. Calls after hours with results. He's just an amazing surgeon and human being.

Extremely personable, makes you feel very comfortable. He performed a mediastinoscopy on me get a lymph node biopsy and he explained everything very thoroughly and clearly. When the biopsy results came in, he actually called me from his house on his day off to tell me the results. This man is a God. We are so lucky to have him!!

Caring and knowledgeable. Dr Moustapha explained everything clearly but with gentleness to our 85 yr old mother. His surgery went flawlessly. He even came after hours to check on her when she was no longer his patient. And returned to check again when he heard her other medical issues were not able to be operated on and offered his condolences.
Dr Moustapha went above and beyond to help our mother. His skill and knowledge are second to none
