I have been seeing Dr. Katcher for some 4 years now. She is friendly, caring and knowledgeable. The office staff is quite rude however they have been helpful when it comes to getting referrals: quick and flexible. I have on occasion seen Dr. Katcher's colleagues and have had to wait a very long time, close to 1 hour, to be seen. I have not had that problem with Dr. Katcher herself.

She listens, she sees you as an individual, she cares. One slight drawback is her part-time hours; sometimes, it's hard to get in to see her on short notice. But most times, her partners can fit you in or call in a script, etc.

Wait time is long to see her but I think it is worth it. She is very personable, friendly and takes time to ask how things are in general - relating to stress levels, diet, activity etc. I get the impression she really cares about me. I have always received excellent care.

She's very kind but tends to downplay all symptoms as nothing, which can be reassuring but means that she doesn't always diagnose real conditions. And she's difficult to track down for actual communication.

This has been one of the worst doctors I've been too. Not unfriendly, but they are rarely in! When I call with a very common issue other doctors have called in a prescription, but they always tell me, no matter how common it is, you must make an appointment, even if that may be weeks and I need something! When I asked to come in for labs, no, not even labs, because you need an appointment for that too. They wouldn't refill a prescription I have been taking for twenty years (I began going to her when I moved a year ago) until I came in again! My husband thinks they want billable hours, even if that means I wait and am sick without a prescription! Not as important, but parking is terrible, just makes it that much more stressful to go to. Suffice to say I am online looking for a new doc!
