Doctor Johns has been my doctor since he was a med student at McMaster 30 years this year . To those patients out there that complain about trouble getting an appointment should be thankful they have an amazing doctor . That’s why he is busy , he’s a great doctor . I find him kind , extremely knowledgeable and compassionate, . And if you want a better relationship with the doctor maybe ask him how he doing, it’s a two way street and very worthwhile .

Never had a family doc make me feel so comfortable

My 2yr old son was unwell with a sudden rash all over his body and this particular evening Dr. David Johns was the on the call doctor for our family Doctor. Typically other on-call doctors will call back directly however, Dr. John's forwarded our call to tele-health where we waited almost 2hrs. After speaking with tele-health for almost 45min they deemed the issue serious enough to consult a physician. While we waited on hold, tele-health phoned Dr Johns where he declined to speak with us directly and filtered all communication through tele-health. Instead of making time for a brief virtual consultation, like other on-call doctors typically do, Dr. John's dismissed our concerns and forced us to anxiously wait through the night until morning without even reviewing the pictures of the rash or providing guidance.

Awesome doctor knows anatomy, physiology and amazing with kids. If you need an appointment it is nearly immediate. We wouldnt trust anyone ele with our family's health!

The office is usually busy, the wait is usually long, and getting through on the phone is a bit tricky. Doctor Johns is an amazing doctor and great person, though. Absolutely one of the best.

Dr Johns has been my family doc for over 20 years. He is also the doc for my whole family. ( We all love him) He is Caring, and very knowledgeable. In regards to being rushed that is a huge problem with our health care system and not enough family docs. Dave works so hard to make sure he sees all his patients, and that he gets you in quickly. Some doctors can make you wait weeks to see them. I also love all his staff who are so friendly, and caring. Yes it takes a while to get through the phones, (it is a busy office) but you never have to leave a message and they always answer the phones. I feel blessed to have such an amazing doctor.
