Not one of the top doctors. My hubby is wonderful about paying bills on time. I love that about him. I was trying to get some understanding on the bill they sent, what the insurance paid, what we owed and trying to explain what my insurance company relayed, his billing secretary was so rude to me and later to my hubby when he called. He stopped her immediately. She interrupted me several times while I was asking her questions and explaining what the insurance company said to tell me I had to pay, was rude and condescending. (btw I reminded her I was a stage 4 patient). After several attempts of trying to get her to treat me appropriately, I ask to speak to her manager or the dr. Not even two minutes later, the NEUROSURGEON himself Dr. Lévesque gets on the phone, pushing me to pay the $420.00 I owed him. Only after SEVERAL TIMES of committing to pay the full amount today, was he willing to hear me out about his employee. He didn't take responsibility for her or apologize for my experience, but said he'd ask her her side of things. We pay our bills no matter how hard things are at the time. I've been to more doctors than I've ever wanted to see and never been treated so rudely by a medical office in my life. http://la-neuro.org/ BTW- He also recommended surgery, but couldn't assure me it would do any good.

Dr Levesque is the best in his field . I was so happy with the results of my back surgery in 2013- I would recommend him to anyone with a back problem who needs surgery- He is caring and has a great bedside manner- don't loo any further than this Doctor for your help- He is the best - !!!

The short story......this is the most efficiently run doctors office I've been to. The staff is excellent. Dr Levesque is a consumate professional, and certainly gifted in Neurosurgery. He fixed a Back problem I have been suffering with for many years via Fusion. I was cautious at first regarding Fusion, but I am now a believer! He used minimally Invasive techniques which shortened recovery time and got me back in the game quickly. The hospital he works out of, Cedar Sinai, was also the best I have ever been too. An overall outstanding experience. Will continue to use Dr Levesque for all my spine issues. Very pleased.

I went to Cedar-Sinai Spine Institute and thought that the specialists over there consult with each other about the patient's problem. Instead I was assigned to this doctor and was transferred to his office. I had no contact with Cedar-Sinai Spine Institute any more.Doctor made wrong diagnosis and performed unnecessary surgery.After the surgery my condition is much worse, I was crippled and my pain is unbearable. I cannot even walk. The fusion he made is irreversible.
