I have been seeing Dr. Hildebrand (as an addictions specialist) for quite some time and have experienced great personal success that I attribute to him. I had seen had a number of other doctors when I was no longer in the area. I decided to go back to him when I moved back to the Niagara area. Immediately I remembered why I liked him so much and had achieved successful results with him in the past. He really takes the time to know his patients from a medical and personal standpoint without judgement. He is an extremely thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor and human being! I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking help in this area.

My 15+ year history of extreme polysubstance use combined with mental health and physical pain issues causes me to dread new Dr.s because of the complexity of my situation. He spent 20-30 mins actually listening. Today I am 920 days clean from opiates and 665 days from alcohol/ other hard drugs and down to 34% of my methadone dose.
He is very supportive and accommodating.

I saw this doctor today at the walk-in clinic and he was wonderful. He knew what the problem was right away. He wrote me a prescription, gave me some instructions and even wrote down the medical term for the form of eczema I was experiencing so I could look it up. Wish he was my GP.

I went to the walk in clinic on April 29th, 2012, and Dr. Hildebrand did absolutely nothing for me. I have never received such horrible health treatment anywhere in the world. I told him what was wrong (my symptoms), he didn't touch me or check anything(he didn't examine me). All he did was listen and sent me to the hospital, which was an even worst experience (same thing as Dr. Hildebrand. They took all kinds of test, had me there for 10.5 hours, and referred me to a specialist in the end, without even telling me what's wrong (Instead the Dr. was playing the guessing game) or giving me anything for the pain. Instead I was referred to Shoppers Drugmart to get pain medicationm and a specialist. They didn't even give me the results from my tests, and MRI smh). In the end it was a waste of time, coz I went not knowing what was wrong, and I came out NOT having a clue as to what is wrong. I would NEVER commend him to anyone.

I had been complaining of the same symptoms to my family doctor for FOUR years and he kept blowing me off, saying he didn't think anything was wrong because he sent me for blood work and my thyroid and iron levels were fine. He said it would go away with time. The doctor at the clinic at the school did the same thing. I finally got frustrated and went to the walk-in clinic and Dr Hildebrand LISTENED, took my blood pressure, and sent me for a test that gave me a diagnosis right away. He has also ordered some extra tests just as a precaution to something he saw slightly elevated on my blood screens, even though he said it was probably nothing. I am so impressed, and so RELIEVED that he was able to figure out the problem on our first visit and that he cares enough to take precautions. I think that's how all doctors should care for their patients

Dr. Hildebrand is the best Dr. I've seen! He is caring and sensitive and actually took the time to listen to my concerns (not just one) and addressall of my concerns. He is definitely a Dr. who cares for his patients; isn't that the reason one should go into being a Dr? and is very knowledgenable and helpful. I wish he would start his practice again. He is great!

He is marvelous!! I have taken myself andmy children to the walk in clinic where he practices. He takes his time, listens to your concerns, addresses them appropriately. He even took a few moments to read a story to my 4 year old daughter before he began checking out our concerns about her health. He is fantastic! A+++

I went to Hildebrand for a referral for a D&C and he denied it on personal moral grounds - what kind of doctor does not uphold the law?! My cousin also went to him and he denied her birth control - what kind of vigilante doctor are we giving control of our health to?

Mark Hildebrand was my family doctor before he closed his practice. He is an absolutly wonderful , caring doctor and I miss him terribly. I would give anything to have him back as my GP. He became a doctor for the right reasons......he is an asset to this world!
