The doctor refused to perform the eye exam because I wanted to exercise my legal right to decline the glaucoma test. I already had a glaucoma test so I made an informed decision that was within my legal rights. When I asked why he would not proceed he said "for legal reasons". When I asked what were the legal reasons, he replied "I already explained - legal reasons". It turns out that there is no law to this effect, and only one court case (from a Helling v. Carey, 1974, WA) whose premise was that the test wasn't even offered (whereas here I chose to decline). Upon leaving I was told "good luck finding another doctor". The fact is that I had a right to make this choice, and he tried to coerce me into a test that I didn't want. There are no "legal reasons" for his behavior, only an apparent desire to increase his billables. As for my punctuality rating, I didn't see the doctor until 20 minutes beyond the scheduled time.

Dr Cooper is the kindest. He really cares and goes out of his way to make customers happy. I came in struggling because my new glasses were not working for me due to the fact that I had tried the new lenses without the bifocal line. It had been one of those days including a fender bender and 5 days of trying to make the glasses work. Dr. Cooper spoke kindly and figure out what the issue was. He rechecked my RX and Wal-Mart re-cut the lenses at no charge. I couldn't be more happy with Dr. Cooper. Wal-Mart is blessed to have someone with his character. I highly recommend him.

Like most that have rated Dr. Cooper my brother and I have been going for at least 10-12 years. He is AWEWSOME! That is just one simple word for the experience we always have considering it sucks to have eye vision problems. I just went in for a check up and he said he hasn't looked in probably 2 years on ratings. I just know he is honest, fair, and the best doctor I know. I have never had insurance and the price has stayed the same. I would tell anyone and everyone to go to him. Our family appreciates everything he does. That is how a doctor is supposed to be. If you live near Denton, TX he is the one you want to go to. Thank you Dr. Cooper! ~Stephanie Melton~

I have had Dr. Cooper as my eye doctor for 10 years. He is warm and caring. He always makes me feel like the only patient in his office. he takes his time with you. His staff had a bad attitude and completely ignore you. He is a great doctor he just needs better office staff that care about his patients as much as he does.

First time 2 years ago everything was great. This time, exam was great and reasonable price. But the girls there could care less if you were there. It took a month for the vision center to get my glasses. But when I got them, they were perfect. My wife still has not getten her trial contact lens. It has been over 30 days. REcommend either doctor. But tell the staff to WAKE UP!

Dr. Cooper is very thorough with eye examinations. I've gotten opinions from specialists a couple of times, and then I set appointments with Dr. Cooper for a second opinion. I really trust him. He's thorough, and he cares about my eye health, recommending I wear eye protectors when I use my power saw as I work in the yard. He is so warm and friendly and puts me at easy. He relates to children and teenagers exceptionally well. He value's my business and thanks me for coming in. My husband, a 6 time stroke victim first went to him Dr. Cooper put him at ease and took his time.

My children and I have all seen Dr. Cooper and been very satisfied with the care we received. I found him to be professional and caring. My only complaint is that the wait time was long.
