Dr. Laila Akhund is an excellent Doctor. She is extremely good at paying attention. Anytime I had questions she would answer them, and make sure I understand. I made a list of things that I wanted to talk about and we sat down and talked about each and every one. I'd recommend her anytime! I'm excited to be in Foxboro and have her as a doctor.

I was not at all impressed with Dr. Akhund. She went through our appointment as if she were a robot and I did not get answers to questions I asked. No bedside manner and seemingly uncaring. I was having issues that she did not address nor did she pay attention to. I am very unhappy that I was assigned this doctor as my primary care and do not feel comfortable at all with her. I still live in pain daily and something is wrong but I guess I am left to figure this out on my own. She thinks more that peoples ailments are made up or in their head than looking more into the issue or referring you off to a specialist who may know that they are talking about and what exactly is going on.

Dr. Akhund also sees patients at a clinic in Raynham Ma., which is where I saw her. I have a history of blood clots, and after having severe pain in my leg, and KNOWING it was a DVT, I went to see her. She sent me home, telling me I had no reason to have pain, I must have pulled a muscle. After a couple days of absolute pain, I went back and told her I needed to have an ultrasound of my leg. I went to the ER, and they ultrasounded me and sent her the results. I went back to her, and after reading the results, she told me the same thing again, i must have pulled a muscle, and I shouldn't be in that much pain, and that maybe some of it was 'imagined'. She gave me a script for Darvocet, and told me to go home and ice it. Fast forward a couple days later, I went to the hospital because the pain was excruciating, got another ultrasound, and they found that I did, indeed have a DVT. Dr. Akhund is clueless, doesn't listen to, nor care about her patients. Worst. doctor. ever.
