Very hard to communicate with because he talks over you and doesn't listen to what you say to the point of rudeness. He reviewed my PET Scan with me and failed to inform me that I had gallbladder inflammation. Too busy lecturing. He had put me in an Iron tablet. The next year my iron was a little on the high side. He didn't tell me, I looked at my lab results. He started stomping out of the room and I had to holler to him asking do you want me to stay on the iron. Not thorough at all.

Can't understand him. Does not listen to your problem. Talks and talks about things they don't apply to me. Had to wait for 2 hrs. before he saw me. ( I was in the office 15min. before my appointment) and only 2 patients where in the office. Than another 30 min. before he came to see me.

Dr Marasigan is very intelligent and caring and expresses his concern when there is something very serious. I immediately changed my primary doctor to him after my experience with him.

In my first visit, he was EXTREMELY knowledgeable in every aspect of my medical conditions/medications and provided everything I needed.

I agree with the other reviewer, I could not communicate with this doctor at all. I saw him about 4 times, and each time he would go into a rant and hardly let me get a word in. He did not listen to any of my concerns or the reason I came in to see him. He would pull up the labs in his computer, go over it, begin his long-winded speeches and then bolt and walk out the door leaving me with questions unanswered. I did not return to him after his last rant when I asked him about the safety of other medications I was taking that another MD prescribed, he felt that people take too many drugs instead of toughing it out and then blame doctors when something goes wrong. I found him to be too opinionated and insensitive.

I could not find a better one, finally I have found a Dr. that really takes his time to listen and care about my health. He is great!

Great doctor; Outstanding staff. Recently moved here from northern Virginia via Texas and his knowledge and skills equal those I have experience from John Hopkins staff. I recommend him.

Unable to communicate with Doctor. I've be to him on two occasions for check up. Was totally dissatisfied with him on the first visit.I thought I give him another try a year later. No change

We had just moved from Tampa to N Ft Myers and were in need of finding a doctor of Internal Medicine. As would have it, I had to seek medical attention at the Lee Convenient Care facility on Pine Island Rd. While there I inquired about locating a doctor to care for my wife and I and were given back to back appointments two days later with Dr. Marasigan. We saw him separately and we both came out with identical views about his knowledge and understanding of our medical issues. Besides being punctual he did not rush us out the door as if to meet a quota, and took time to explain things in great detail. I can see why some patients may feel put off by his approach because his prognosis and cure remedies are blunt and to the point -- he tells it****it is!!!! And that is what you want from a good doctor.
