Best eye dr I ever had. Sine you stopped your practice I had tried 5 dr,s and they all suck compared to you. Greatly miss your service.

Dr. Buchanan-Dorrance had been my optometrist for about 20 years and he was the best. I will dearly miss him.

Such a sweetheart. Will dearly miss him. Not sure where to go now. I don't understand the negative reviews. His front staff would only rate a three star but Dr Buchanan Dorrance is five stars all the way!

I don’t understand the reviews of some of the people on this reviewing site because Dr. Buchanan-Dorrance is a really nice man and an excellent optometrist. I find his front office staff friendly and efficient and professional.

KEEP FAR AWAY from this doctor and West Halifax Optometry. I have never seen a professional practice that is so completely unprofessional. A total disaster in every way.

Love Dr Buchanan-Dorrance! He often runs late, but he is so knowledgeable and friendly, that it is worth it. The front end girls are really friendly, and always look like they love what they do. We ave been seeing Dr BD since he was in the Halifax Shopping Centre, he now sells gasses as well, but there isn't the usual hard sales pitch, which is nice. I highly recommend Dr BD for your next exam - especially if you have kids - he is really great with the littles.
