Dr. Woodland doesn't look at his charts to see why you are there, he sends you for tests that you don't need and over prescribes medication all for the swipe of your health card. I wouldn't send my dog to see him.

James Woodland is an exemplary family physician. I find one of the most impressive things about him is that he does not hesitate to refer to specialists if he feels the condition is one better managed by someone else; he has no ego about caring for his patients. He simply wants what's best for them.

I brought the name of a new drug to him that he hadn't heard before; he actually did research, brought me back in to discuss.

He is kind, caring, considerate, and cautious. Also tenacious when necessary. He's a gem.

Dr. Woodland was my father's doctor for the 6 years he was in long term care at the United Mennonite Home in Vineland. Dr. Woodland was always kind, respectful, caring and thorough. He cared for my Dad with dignity and included my Dad in all discussions even when my Dad struggled. Dr. Woodland kept myself and my family involved and up to date on concerns and care and was so very compassionate when my Father passed. We are patients of Dr. MacEwen at the same clinic as Dr. Woodland and would have no hesitation to see him in her absence. He is truly a FAMILY doctor. Thanking him for all of his steady work and commitment to the patients in his care.

Hands down , the best doctor . Listens carefully, is overly cautious and seems genuinely interest in my well being , and always asks about my family and remembers their names! He has a wonderful bed side manner and always gets me in for an appointment when needed. He is a walking angel in my humble opinion. I consider myself and my family lucky to have him!

He misdiagnosed MOM in Jan/Feb, barely examined her, now after months in hospital due to his poor service he actually wants $40 cash for signing forms for her imminent death. If Mom was properly attended to, she would not have gotten this sick before we finally took her to Emerg as he was not capable!! Now she has little chance of recovery. He kindly said she is on a slippery slope. Wow
