Dr Ballard has been good in that its quick (in, out).. office is very clean, very quite.. I recently got dropped by her clinic because I at times come in with 2-4 grandkids and I believe the staff do not like kids 2 be in the lobby.. its to bad because I did like dr ballard care.. quick, easy and to the point. the older people in the lobby never had a problem with the grandkids.. they seemed to enjoy childrens enthusiasm towards life.. pity some grown people just don't enjoy youth.

My husband sees Dr Ballard, out of conv. , because he has estab care with her.Dr is very rude and judgemental. Does not truly "listen" to her patients needs. Dr has Rx my husband meds that have made him suicidal. I have been greatly concerned for him. She does not respond to her emer. phone. She has NO business dealing w meds for mental conditions. It took a lot of effort to get my husband to go deal with these issues in the first place. Thank the good Lord he has not given up , due to her lack of attention. Not picking up on things that she should. Same situation with my teen daughter and complete disappointment.

This doctor is very lucky I do not slap her with a Malpractice Lawsuit. The doctor I saw after her diagnosed me with a BRAIN TUMOR. Instead of taking the time to help me she disrespected me by calling me a "drug addict". The second visit I had with her ended in a screaming match where she called me every name in the book, all while I had my 3yr old daughter with me. She is rude & extremly horrible at her job. After I saw her I decided to check on her status with the Medical Board (public info) & she has a formal complaint for having misappropriate relations with a patient. I think this just goes to show her character.

Staff no smiles. Visits several times over 40 - 50 past the appointment time. Does not examine fully. Asks you what you are there for? really !! Always one instruction one day and the next something totally different, not consistent. Will not phone you if you have a questions. Always initiate the conversation and no desire to be helpful.

My first visit. She was >30 min late, spent <10 minutes in the room (mostly sorting through records to tell me what to bring next time for them to copy), tried to finish and leave the room twice without examining me, did not listen to my request for a wristbrace with the hard part on top but instead wrote a script I had to drive 1/2 hr to fill only to find out she had written it for the hard part on bottom and they didn't carry any other kind, and was more concerned about leaving to "go and get the eggs" that she had forgotten (I heard her commenting while waiting to check out). I was very disappointed. She did not do an annual exam as I had requested when I made my appt, only briefly looked at my back, wrist and knee when I called her back into the room the 2 times, and didn't seem interested at all in learning about the questions and concerns I had hoped she would address. I was "examined" clothed, initiated all the conversation about my visit/health, and charged $331 for this visit.

Mary is a very caring and wonderful doctor. She is courteous, kind, puncutal, knowledgeable and helpful in every way. She truly cares about her patients and gives them the best care possible. When a referral is necessary, che sends her patients to the best doctors in the area to be treated for the specialized care they require. Because of her I was sent to a fabulous back surgeon in Tacoma, (Dr. Jos Cove'), in an effort to be able to walk without pain. This was definitely accomplished and I am grateful every day. Mary also saved my mother's life when she heard an irregular heart beat and sent her immediately to a caridologist in Issaquah, who immediately placed her in the hospital for open heart surgery the next day. That was eight years ago and mom is still as busy as ever at 86 years of age. Mary is a country doctor who gives you her cell phone number, answers your calls of messages no matter what time of day, treating you like you are her best friend. She is an incredible physician.
