I smell a hypocrite. I'm a Dr and I have been a Dr without borders and helped many women in many other lands. I've even helped people in my own home country. As long as the ones in the US can pay upfront. I told a women that she was at a very high risk for cancer because of her cervical dysplasia. Then told her I'd do the surgery if she could pay up front. If not I wouldn't do it. Not couldn't. Oops, I JUST BECAME HER RISK FOR CANCER. Oh well, who cares, I got my tax break for all my good works in OTHER countries.

when you are laughing and talking 10 years AFTER a prognosis you weren’t expected to survive I only have one person to thank. Every doctor I go to is amazed that I survived my prognosis but when they see my Surgeon’s name it’s always met with the same response..... “That explains it.” He IS the best in the US in his field and many Medical publications put him in the top 10 in the world. We are VERY lucky! Thank you Dr. C!!!

I find the Office Manager to be extremely. She never return phone calls, she will walk right past a patient and not even acknowledge them. I over heard the receptionist telling a patient over the phone that she is the Office Manager and she never takes patient calls. This is disgraceful. I have a question for filing my taxes and I need an explanation of my bill, so I know what amount I will need to come up with for chemo. She may need to be reminded, it is not who signs her paycheck, but it is the PATIENTS who pays her paycheck. She is in health care, patients coming to a Women's Cancer Center do not feel well and they are scared at times. A bit of compassion and empathy goes along way. The dr is GREAT but she represents him as well.

The staff other than this Office Manger are EXCELLENT.

I have waitee a long enough time until the dust settled and thought close to 1 year later that it was appropriate to speak out. This place has a mean, nasty and scary way of dealing with the public. Unpleasant demeanor permeates this office. It's not by coincidence that all act that nasty way. The left hand and the right hand don't ever know what they are doing. Who hired all these people. ? It all comes from the leader. No empathy. Probably a good surgeon. It's promoted all over the office with posters implying that CARE and EMPATHY are core values. Would be great if there were many flies on the walls only to tell the truth. As a cancer free patient I can say that one is looked upon and treated in such a way as we (patients) are a source of interruption. A real disgrace. Never returns calls. Doesn't answer the phones even to my pharmacy and other doctors trying to reach him. No human being should be treated like this. Reading the other comments I am not surprised that my experience was what it was. I managed to change doctors and am much happier now. At least for my mental health otherwise this office can give one a nervous breakdown. Noncommunicative. Changes stories. Didn't allow me to express myself but instead would have a monologue with himself because he and all of them have no listening skills. I am now in remission and waited a number of months to write this but I had to put this out this here to the general public to be warned about how rotten this office treats people. Noone should put their feet into this office.

Very pleasant doctor and assistant. They really took the time to explain my diagnosis which was stage 1 uterine cancer. I was referred by my regular gyn doctor after ultrasound and biopsy confirm my condition. I was very nervous going to a new doctor but Dr. Cirisano was great. I had the da vinci surgery performed. I am now almost one year from surgery and feeling fine. I appreciate Dr. Cirisano and his entire staff.

I went to Dr. Frank Cirisano's office in Delray Beach on Linton Blvd today as a new patient. I just received new health insurance, and had been referred to go there for a second opinion on an abnormal pap. When I called a week and a half ago to schedule the appointment, the girl on the phone (she never said her name) wasn't very friendly, especially when I said I hadn't received my new insurance information. I was told to call back when I received it. When I called yesterday to give them my information, the girl on the phone said they would call me back with my copay information. Now, mind you, I never received a confirmation call for my appointment, and they never called me back about my copay. So I go there today, having left work early to do so, and when I walk in, there's no one at the desk. The office is also old, shabby, and looks like a ghost town with no one in sight. When the receptionist finally comes to the desk, she walks right past me, says nothing for a good two minutes, and then finally mumbles a miserable hello. I tell her that I have an appointment, fill out the paperwork, and hand her my insurance card. She tells me my copay and then when I hand her a credit card, proceeds to tell me that they're going to charge me an extra $0.45. Now, it's not about the $0.45 at all, but I'm annoyed because there is no explanation why, I was never called back about my copay, and I was never called to confirm my appointment. I tell her that I'm a new patient, and that if I had been given a call back that I would have brought cash, or should have at least been informed about the charge (there were no signs anywhere mentioning a charge). She tells me that she doesn't know who I spoke with, but that I still have to pay the charge. When I tell her I want to speak with an office manager, she goes into a back room with a window I can clearly see through, and she speaks to a woman who apparently seems to be making fun of me. When she calls me in to speak with the manager, the manager doesn't even introduce herself. She is a rude, nasty foreign woman that immediately cuts me off when I try to explain that I was never called back, am a new patient, just got new health insurance, and was supposed to receive both a confirmation call and a call back about my copay. I tell her to stop cutting me off and that I can go to any other doctor but was referred to come there. She cuts me off again and tells me that she doesn't know who I spoke to, but ultimately, I should know my copay. Well, excuse me, but this is new health insurance, so no, I don't know it, and furthermore, whoever I spoke to said they would call me back. She continues to be rude and cut me off, so I tell her I'm leaving. This is the most nasty, rude, disgusting office, and it's smack dab in the ghetto. I would NEVER go back or refer anyone. Find another doctor!

Dr. Cirisano is a fabulous doctor. He spent a lot of time with me explaining my condition, options and answering all of my questions. He is gentle and professional. I would definitely recommend him to others who need his kind of specialty.
