Dr McNicol he’s been my Dr since Dr Westwood retired and I honestly couldn’t be more happy !!! He is always there when I have needed him and he has always looked after me and my family when needed 😊

I have had Dr. McNicol for over 10 years. I find him patient, knowledgeable, and very understanding. Take the time to get to the root of the issue and not quick to prescribe unnecessary drugs

McNicol has been my physician for a few years, but recently seems to be pre-occupied with things other than his patients. When you tell him something hurts or isn't feeling right, he doesn't even attempt to look at the area. He sat on his computer through my whole appointment and never once even looked up at me. I'm not sure how a doctor can make and accurate diagnosis without even looking at the patient. Seems to me that that's what Capital Health Link is for. He's quick to refer out and only seems to want to help healthy people. As soon as I had a health problem, he referred me out instead of attempting to solve the issue. If he doesn't agree with what you think, he tries to hurry you out of the office.

Dr. McNicol has been our family doctor for years, and has always been wonderful. If he doesn`t know what the problem is, he goes the extra distance to run tests to find out what is wrong.

Dr.McNicol was my family Dr for over 10 yrs. I had a healthy lifestyle for most of it and saw him at most 1 or 2 times a year. When I started having health problems or injuries I was told to tough it out or to try certain medications. When this started to interfere with my work, I was also encouraged to "keep trying to go to work" or "It will be in your best interest to try this new medication at work". Keep in mind these meds specifically state "not to be taken when working around equipment, may cause dizzyness, etc". I clearly told him that I worked around heavy rotating equipment. Anyways, I did not feel I was being listened too and at times felt like he thought I was lying. Best thing I ever did was go to another Dr and several others are feeling the same way. Currently my family is moving Dr's as we all feel the same. Great Dr if you are ok, but when you actually need him for something serious, he does not always seem on your side.

After my family Dr. passed away I was left with no options for quality care! Dr McNicol graciously agreed to take me on as a patient. He, in my opinion is one of the most thorough, knowledgeable and caring physicians I have ever had the privilege of being acquainted with. Thank you Dr. McNicol for the 1st class care! Joanne Helm

Doctor McNicol provided superior medical assistance to our Dad for years. However, the quality of his care became even more evident in recent days as he helped Dad battle his fight with cancer. Dr. McNicol's knowledge and compassionate and light hearted bed side manner brought much comfort to our Dad and our family. Thank you Dr. McNicol! Dr. McNicol has been my dr for over 10yrs. Has seen me through everything. Am very lucky to have a dr like him. Yes, a little bit of a wait, but like everyone else, would rather wait for a great dr, than wait for a dr that shushes you out 2min after your app starts. Staff is also excellent. Resident at the time was also very helpful and knowledgeable.
