August 2020: Didn't have a couple good recent experiences, not very skilled at the bed side and a fast talker. I will not be continuing. I saved voice message directly form the Dr which doesn't follow the Hippocratic Oath path in my opinion, yes, it's a historic and symbolic value although important to me.

Horrible bedside manor and full of himself. The rudest human I have ever come in contact with. It's a good thing he now specializes in hemroids.

Very pleasant , smart and compassionate , I am so happy I met Dr Diliberto, he fitted me on his busy schedule because of the urgency of my problem . I highly recommend him. His staff was very attentive informative and courteous .

I had to cancel a procedure due to a family emergency--a real one--as my father is terminally ill and needed my assistance to get to his own doctor's appointment on the same day that I had my procedure scheduled.

I called 51 hours in advance to cancel and was treated very rudely by the receptionist who told me that I "should have" called the day before. When I indicated that I DID call the day before--a few minutes before the office was due to close, but that their voicemail was already turned on at five minutes to 5pm--she said very coldly, "then you SHOULD HAVE left a message." I tried to tell her it was an emergency, but I was already really upset by that point. She said that I would be charged as a "no show." Even though I wasn't a no show and I actually did call and cancel--again, more than 48 hours in advance. Now the office is attempting to collect a $200 no show fee. I've asked them to waive it, and was told the following: "Sometimes Dr. Diliberto waives the fee, but he has chosen not to waive yours."

Doctor fees are a scam and clearly this office is banking on people's misfortune to line their pockets. Not paying this. I don't care if it goes to collections and ruins my credit.

Outdated office. Blinds are so dusty. Needs newer flooring at least. All his staff are very friendly and always wear smiles on their faces. It was nice to see that staff are knowledgeable on how to run the office since Dr. Diliberto is always running late. Wait time will be more than an hour in the reception area and about 30-40 minutes inside the room. He talks way too fast as if someone is trying to run after him but he does give informational materials at the check-out in case you really didn't understand him. Otherwise, he's a knowledgeable Dr. He will really dig into the cause of your problem and of course solve it. But FYI, he does charge way too much.

Worst possible gastroenterologist. This doctor has an hidden agenda and bad one. Even before when I saw them, the front office clerk asked us if we are coming in for colonoscopy. When we said no, she acted disappointed. Then she send us big packet of papers and keep on calling us with messages which makes no sense (to any college educated people). When we arrived at the office, it was again rude front staff asking dumb invasive questions. We waited for 45 minutes to see the MD and he was all about self bragging, insulting my family, and having no clue what is expected of modern gastroenterlogist. His office was dirty and female staff does not seem to understand English. Dr. Jay is ALL ABOUT COLONOSCOPY even if you don't need it. When we were waiting in the waiting room, this lady approach us (unsolicited) and tells me that Dr. Jay did the best colonoscopy of her life. Uh, that's nice, good for her. Last time we checked, the digestive system goes from your mouth, down the food pipe, stomach, intestine, and then goes out of other end. Dr. Jay's office staff is only obssessed about the anals. Don't go there if that is not your problem. Someone said he is an assh*le and it turned out true. He is obssessed with it.

How dare you bad, negative people to write such horrible stuff about Dr. Jay. If you were honest & took the time to listen to him & do as he asks, u would have had a better experience w/ him. I have been a patient for over 5 years. His staff is wonderful. Never an issue. He is not arrogant. he is a straight shooter that gives you the facts. If you need to be coddled or r just looking for a quick drug fix cuz u r spoiled orange countians, It'syour problem. I HAVE NO REASON TO WRITE THIS TO OTHER THAN HE IS THE BEST G.I. doctor in O.C...and for you kind people, thanks for standing up for a man who has a wonderful practice & treats all of us the same. He Might not the best bed side manners but he knows his stuff and your lucky to have him do the procedure

He is very arrogant , not the best bed side mannor, badly mouth other doctors , consider him self the best ! been rude to pt , make me feel that he is seeing me for free ? Even though I have a good insurance, if y can accept all above sure y can see him , l realy regret seeing him , in oc there is plenty of great gastroentrologist without all above

I am just very upset with Dr. Diliberto, he refused to see me as a patient because I had a colonocoscopy by another doctor,I call that very unprofessional and as a doctor he failed his oath to help patients in need. I waited three weeks for this appointment, was let into his exam room and hour and 15 minutes late just to tell that he would NOT see me.Very, very poor performance.
